I had to close out an account and open a new one a month or so back, which caused a landslide of negative transactions. I phoned the 1-800 line and they wouldnt or couldnt help me. I went into the Lacombe branch, eventhough its not my home branch, and was so thankful I did. The tellers were very friendly, as well as the branch manager. They went above and beyond to help me get everything straightened out. She and her staff were absolute stars! Thank you for helping get through this absolutely frustrating time!

This is not an issue with Lacombe branch IN ANYWAY it however a review of the Scotia Bank as a whole. I have total power of attorney over my parents lives... However This morning was literally hung up on (I was short, but not rude) I have never seen such incompetence as a whole. 6 months ago I gave a certain branch NOT LACOMBE a 5 or 6 or their review when then sent me a survey after my appointment, I actually received a call from the branch manager saying that I shouldn't put that low of a score as it effects them from their head office. What I am assuming it affects is his bonus... I am so upset with these people I want to scream, this is all over the fact that they messed up setting up my POA properly now getting them to fix their mess seems nearly impossible. I sit here tying this as I'm on hold with the office for the 3rd time this morning.
