Went to pick up a package from Canada post. It's open inside the rexall from 9am to 8pm. I was in shortly after because I work. The woman refused to release my package for me. Ridiculous. I've never had a good experience here. I don't shop here and it has just been solidified that I never will going forward either. I will call canada post and have them send my package elsewhere. Thanks for nothing. I'm not surprised you have so many awful reviews.

Would like to share my today's experience, I went many times to rexall for chips or drinks but today when I visited felt so bad because a cashier who was working she was rude and not friendly she was an old woman... She was supposed to me as a homeless because I am from different country?

Very frustrating when the Pharmacy doesn’t communicate that they are short medications or that they place arbitrary holds on medications. Then force you to seek out other pharmacies to fill your prescriptions. Waste of time and completely useless. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My review is based on the pharmacists at Rexall, I found the pharmacist I spoke with very rude. I was trying to get a better understanding of how & when to use the medication. She didn't care to explain any of that to me. It felt like I was a bother to her & even when I asked again to clarify, she basically shut me up & rushed through it. I can say that for certainty, I will not be going back there when it comes to the pharmacy side.

Showed up having an asthma attack with no inhaler. Pharmacist first lied to me saying she wasn’t allowed to give inhalers. I told her it was emergency and she said nothing she could do. I pulled up the Alberta pharmacy boards rules which say they can. She then changed her story and said she has assessed from behind the glass and I don’t need one. So off to emergency I went barely able to breathe. This lady in all of her legal rights could have given me an emergency inhaler and chose not to. So, my wife and I are submitting a formal complaint against the pharmacy as she wouldn’t give me any licensing information.

I have been going here for over 8 years until I had a issue with the same pharmacist twice over the same medication. I was preached at even though she is not my Dr nor my body. I explained why I can't use other meds but she continued to tell me why I need to get rid of this medication. I came in to get the same medication and was told she wouldn't inject it because the prescription says 12 weeks and not 10. I said I understand her concern but if she looked into my file shed see I've been taking it every 10 weeks for years ( my receipt and consent forms will show this). She refused to look into computer, saying she was the professional and she wouldn't inject it. The medication couldn't be dispensed unless it was due up so this was another reason why I know this med has been injected every 10 weeks. (medication was filled days before I came in for injection) The same pharmacist injected it the last visit even though it said 12 weeks and never questioned me until this visit. I was belittled and told be quiet so she could talk and said she didn't have to listen to me. I explained I am the customer and deserved to be listened to as well but she refused. The pharmacist doesn't like this medication and I was being faulted for this. If this med, based on a belief or not liked in general then another pharmacist should be on site to administer it. I don't like everything in my job but I do it anyways or else beds, floors, toliets etc would sit dirty. If I can't do something for example lift a heavy object there is always someone else who can do it so the tasks are still being completed.I called Walmart and explained the situation,stating what happened. The pharmacist seen my prescription said 12 weeks but did see it's been filled every 10 weeks for years indicating I get it at 10 weeks not 12. (drug can be administered between 10 and 12 weeks). I was able to get it injected and explained I'd get my Dr to clarify at my next apt so this never happens again. The pharmacist did the injection with zero issues and I transferred my file. The pharmacist listened to my needs and never once said they were the professional, preached, belittled or told me to stop talking. I couldn't live in pain for 2 weeks waiting for the original pharmacist to inject it.Alan the manager has been really awesome over the years but won't return my e-mails about this issue. I've asked to be notified when my meds owing were ready and tax receipt printed out but haven't heard back either and that was over 4 days ago. I understand I'm not the only customer but this is something that should be looked into. Someone else will take this pharmacist to a higher authority one day. I hope she will be talked to appropriately and she will act like a professional .Listening to customers and being more flexible rather than acting like she is better than the customer would be more appropriate.

The Rexall pharmacy staff are always readily available to answer any questions or concerns.They even take the time with you to go through and confirm all the pertinent information that applies to your needs and health keeping their records up to date .. Thumbs up to a great group of people

The Pharmacy has always been amazing for me. The owners are knowledgeable and care very much for our medications and needs. I have had nothing but awesome experiences and feel valued as a customer!
