For more than 6 months my TFSA statements have been going to the wrong address. I've had two phone appointments and 1 in-person appointment to correct this with little success. They've also told me Im unable to do online banking- despite that not being true . I do my usual banking with TD in Leduc and luckily never have issues like this. I personally wouldn't reccomend this branch. Very disorganized and you get a different answer everytime you speak to someone

Wish I could give zero stars. Terrible customer service. Instead of helping me my advisor decided it was better to just ghost me and not follow up on any of my emails. Which is probably the best outcome, because a ten year old could probably give equal if not better financial advice.

Terrible customer service, problem after problem with no resolution given. Can't make formal complaint as they refuse to put the issue in writing or the steps you've taken to try to resolve. This should be unlawful.

Terrible service. Over 2 weeks and still nothing back about our loan. Try to call and find a number to talk to a freaking person and it doesn’t exist unless you wait on hold for an hour.

Overall, satisfactory experience. Minus one of the representatives there giving attitude when customers come in a few minutes before they close. The hours at this (most banks) are not adequate for the individuals who work a full time job. The attitude she gave when I was explaining what I needed doing seemed very unprofessional. Overall, my experience with Scotiabank is above satisfactory, but her attitude makes me want to visit a different branch.

They have very poor service and their hours are the worst hours. Half the time people work until 5 or 530 and need the bank but they close at 4 or 5 almost every day except one. My partner went in the other day on a open day Saturday , there was one lady and he was going to cash in a certified cheque , she refused to help him and told him to put it in the atm he re explained it was certified and couldn’t be held as it was for rent and she refused and said the same thing. He put it in the atm and it’s on hold for 5 days. Not only was she rude but she cost us money as we had to go pay to get it certified in the first place.Not to mention the one day a week they have open till 7 they only do appointments from 5-7. We did not know this as it’s not very advertised and went to the bank to get this problem fixed to find out we can’t and have the doors locked.

I've been dealing with Scotiabank for a few years now. Last year I bought my first new car in 10 yrs and Scotiabank was the only bank to offer me a car loan. I highly recommend Scotiabank.
