I will never use their services again. They are impossible to get ahold of, I have phoned 4 times over the last week and been on hold for over 2.5 hours!!! They are not worth the wait! Who has time in their lives to spend a total of 10 hours on hold just to end up disconnected or needing to finally hang up because I have other tasks to take care of.

My bank put a hold on my Christmas bonus and my monthly payment missed.
Called AMA to explain what happened and they wouldn't reverse the NSF charge. Told be to have it paid by the 12th or find new insurance.

Still the local Lethbridge location staff were NOT able to provide us with Positive Customer Service Experience.
We will look elsewhere for our auto insurance.

Called yesterday, was on hold for over an hour, gave cause I didn’t have time to wait around. Called again today, yet again on hold for over an hour. It’s getting ridiculous at this point.

Amazing staff, but not enough of them.
They are very helpful when you finally get a chance to speak to someone - they definitely need to triple their staff working at the location and on their phone lines.

There are lots of perks to being an ama member as long as you don't visit inside. Customer service not so good. Went in for a name change on Driver's License. I took the legal document from Vital. I was told "not good enough, do it all over and bring back the application." It was denied. Also told to get an application online they didn't have one and to go back to where I got the legal document which was an RCMP detachment and tell them that they cant apply for a name change. Not very happy.

Unbelievable... AMA has one of the highest insurance polices.... YET I WAS ON THE PHONE ON HOLD FOR 40MINS!!!! this is by far the worst and longest unacceptable wait times I have ever waited....
I thought AMA was expensive because they offered good service... This is terrible... instead of chatting around the office... actually pick up phone calls..
