One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
The TV I purchased from Best Buy was broken when I set it up. I called on December 22nd to request an exchange, but they could not give me any confirmed exchange date. Because of this, I canceled the order and bought the same TV through Costco.ca instead — who delivered a working unit with no issues. Also when the delivery was made drove across my lawn to cause damage to my property.
Despite the TV being defective, Best Buy originally wouldn’t pick it up until January 7th. After countless phone calls and hours wasted, I finally convinced them to pick it up on January 3rd when the same delivery company was already at my house.
I was hung up on multiple times by customer service and repeatedly given conflicting information.
On January 2nd, I was told my refund would take 5–7 business days. Day 7 has now passed with no refund. Instead, I received an email saying it would now be another 3–5 days.
Broken product, poor communication, excessive delays, and zero accountability. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before buying a large item from Best Buy.
Edit: Your response is horrible. I have been on the phone with best buy for hours and hours only for calls to be disconnected. With that with no resolution on said phone calls.

This is not against the Lethbridge store but the online retailer.
Aimed to buy a new PC for a pretty penny (3,000$) from a seller that they endorse. Only for my order to take 2 weeks to get any news about but also for the seller to lie about inventory and claim they sold out when I bought with 5 units left. Then my order was canceled by the seller with Best Buy having nothing else to say other then worthless sorry there is nothing we can do. In addition they are still holding my money so I can't get a PC anywhere else without over drafting.
Can't believe that they let any seller use them as a medium without vetting. Better to shop in store or better yet a local store.

We were in the store this morning looking to replace a laptop, and we needed advice. We were in the computer section for almost half an hour, saw blue shirts walking around in other parts of the store, none of them even attempted to look in our direction. We took our business elsewhere.

The Worse customer service. Purchased a $90.00 game as a gift for Christmas. Went to customer service desk to verify console compatibility. Team member Fadzai verified with other team members, that yes it is compatible. Than I asked if it doesn't work then what ? She said you can bring it back for return or exchange. She said that confidently with no hesitation. So I took her professional word. Christmas comes game does not work. Took it back customer service looked at me and said games aren't returnable. I said you team member Fadzai told me I could and explained my situation since the staff member I was dealing with was not working. The team members than told me to cut my losses and sell it online. What kind of professional response is that ? 0 accountability. I asked discuss this with the manager. Manger in geek squad shirt came out and said no I can't return it. It policy and so on. I called him out and said so you don't train your staff about store policy or product compatibility no response other than you can sell the game yourself. Unbelievable. 0 accountability. DONT SHOP HERE IF YOU DO BECAREFUL. MAKE SURE YOU STUDY THERE POLICIES AND LOOK UP YOUR OWN PRODUCT INFORMATION. ALSO BEST BUY CORPORATE OFFERED 10% OFF ON ACCESSORIES ONLINE ONLY NOTHING OVER $100 FOR WASTIN MY MONEY AND TIME THATS THERE APOLOGY ! Best Buy try WORST BUY ! THEY JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND MORE !

I went on boxing this store and saw lego and and ask the crew is that the price and she said yes and went to the counter and pay it they said its a wrong item and from 19$ goes to 125$ they talk they manager and she offer me 10$ 0ff where ended up just leaving the store

Went to return a windows 11 USB, they said it wasn’t able to be returned as digital download. (I made sure when buying to get USB and not digital specifically.) talked to Microsoft (as they suggested) Microsoft confirmed Best Buy had to do it as USB. Talked to Best Buy support, they also confirmed they had to at store. Went to Best Buy return policy. It also! States they have to because it’s NOT A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD! And it’s sealed!

I am currently having a horrible experience with best buy. On december 2nd I purchased a pc that was on sale, it said available for backorder, will ship on december 12th, and be delivered by dec 16th.
I placed the order, waited untill the 12, but with no change I called in, I got horrible attitude and service, and worse yet they couldn't tell me any information! Once I finally received a tech who could help ( 4th call in ) he tell me they short thousands in stock and have no idea when they will be in, probably the new year
They lied about availability of the item by saying they would have it, when they dont, and that it would be delivered by a date it couldn't be delivered by to lock in sales during cyber monday, then they wait until the deals are over for themselves ans other conpetitiors, at that point your now unable to just cancel and buy it elsewhere because youd lose your opportunity to get the sale elsewhere so they essentially foxholed you into taking a loss of accepting whatever time frame they see fit now.
I told him I bought this specifically because they said it would come before Christmas in the ad, and he said well, probably wont be untill next year, but they had no idea when they would get stock again, too bad, they offer no form of sorry or compensation in these cases..... ill never buy from best buy again, just go to the distributors they use or a more reliable competitor.
These guys are snakes
Edit: I called in as requested, they had no idea what i was talking about and were unhelpful, I requested to speak with a supervisor yesterday as was told id get a call back, which like the other ones when I was inquiring about my order, never came. As I originally stated, stay away from buying here and use a major competitior for a better experience.

Waited in line at the service desk to pick up my online order. When it was my turn, the lady took my order number and went to get my purchase. As soon as she left, the girl that was at the till beside her rudely told me to move so she could use that computer. Didn’t appreciate her rudeness but ignored it. Wont be back, I can get the same products pretty much anywhere else.

We'll just in Best Buy trying to buy a tablet. The lady pulled one out scanned. It said it was $99. The tag in front of the tablets showed $99. Went to the front scanned, it showed 249.00. The manager came over and said that he cannot honor that price. He said, because somehow the tag was moved from another tablet. But the display case was locked, and only staff could access it. I remember when companies would honor their mistakes but not nowadays, they will not.

Looked online and found generally what was looking for, but it was a pretty basic desktop, monitor, printer, etc for an elderly person. Thought I'd go old school and just go get one. I took the time to drive over, went to the computer section and stood there like an idiot for 30ish minutes and didn't even see an employee to make eye contact with. Finally left.

Bestbuy online is the absolute worst company i have ever delt with in my life i was mad promises and then told they will not honor there promises i will never darken the door of this poor excuse for a business i would rather go without then shop there

I visited this location because my gift card wasn’t working correctly.
Michael at customer service received my request, even though it was quite a bit for him to handle. He remained calm, patient, and did his best to help me.
Dealing with unhappy customers is never easy, and I wasn’t happy with the Best Buy gift card itself—it’s easy to buy but not always easy to use due to certain restrictions and fraud concerns.
However, I was lucky that Michael helped me to the best of his ability. Because of his professionalism and dedication, I’m giving this location 5 stars, even though the situation itself wasn’t ideal.

Friend has stage 4 brain cancer and we had his laptop to geek 3times and same thing...called to talk to manager and they said no. Laptop bought in January. Don't recommend
