I purchased a 2015 Ford Mustang GT with 50,000 KM for $31,000 from Davis. During the test drive around Lethbridge, I didn’t have a chance to shift into 6th gear. However, on my way home, I discovered that 6th gear wasn’t functioning.
I called the salesperson, Farren, who initially told me that there was nothing they could do right away. A week later, he finally got back to me and scheduled an appointment at the Davis location in Airdrie. After purchasing this low-mileage car, supposedly inspected by their mechanic, I was informed that it needed a new transmission. Farren had presented me with the AMVIC inspection form at the time of purchase, and as per regulations, a vehicle that fails this inspection cannot be financed. Yet, I suspect that the dealership misrepresented the vehicle’s condition to push through financing. Even the staff at the Davis Airdrie location were skeptical about this situation.
Upon closer inspection once I got home, I found that both front tires were dry-cracked and should have been replaced due to age. Throughout the process, Farren only responded after daily reminders from my end. I requested multiple times to speak to a manager, but Farren assured me that things were “moving along at an appropriate pace.”
After a month of repeated follow-ups and ultimately finding the contact number of the Davis chain manager listed with AMVIC, I finally got in touch with Brad. After all this effort, I was presented with three options:
Transmission Replacement: They would cover only two-thirds of the cost, claiming it would "add value to the car"—a flawed argument, as a low-mileage car should already have a working 6th gear and good tires, as advertised.
Transmission Rebuild: They offered to send the car to a transmission shop for a rebuild. Based on professional advice, I knew this was not a viable solution, as metal debris from a failure like this can damage other parts of the transmission, risking further issues down the line.
Return the Car: I ultimately chose this option, though it took five weeks overall to receive a refund check. Overall, I only had the car for five days, paid interest for five weeks, and wasted a minimum of 25 hours dealing with this issue Between research and calls.
If you're considering purchasing from this dealership, be cautious. After this experience, I sincerely hope the next buyer of this mustang doesn’t have similar issues with the transmission.

Farren and company were very reasonable and easy to deal with. No games or sales tactics. Best of all, the price you negotiate is the price you pay! No additional unexpected fees!!! First time I've encountered that. Would definitely consider for my next used vehicle, especially after my experiences elsewhere.

Although I didn’t make a deal with Davis, the purchaser I worked with was very honest and upfront with me. Great guy who took the time to phone me and gave me some advice on what I should do in my situation. Definitely recommend.

The staff were friendly and the vehicles as described on the listings. Had no problem going for a test drive. They made looking at a vehicle easy and relaxed with no pressure.

Phoned four times during a week to find out about a car, two times was to the salesman's cell phone. Zero calls back! Customer service is horrible, avoid if possible.

I hit up a few places In Lethbridge and did my research. After my first deal fell through I reached out to Davis. Right from the start I felt no pressure and at ease! Great job Farren :) Thanks for turning my first New (used) car experience into a good one :)

Real “get ya in and good luck operation”. If your gonna buy a vechile from here you better know a cheap mechanic. They even told me that the vechile had just been serviced which Is common. After investigating what they told me the engine oil was black.

Recommended by a dear friend to sell my car and I was not disappointed. Tried to sell on my own and it was exhausting.
