“This store is a true gem. They have all kinds of cool and unique gifts but also a large selection of all the best candy. I was told they import most of the candy so you can find all kinds of tasty treats you wouldn’t find in most other stores here plus lots of nostalgic candies. I believe the gentleman in the back was the owner and he was so kind engaging with everyone in the store and giving great recommendations. The lady at the front of the store was so friendly. Their great selection and friendly staff will be the reason I return.”

“On July 2, 2026, a group of six of us came to The Jasmine Room for high tea. It was a delight! It was reminiscent of my teatimes with my Oma back in the 1960's - cloth napkins, china cups and saucers, 3-tiered dainty trays laden with delicate and delicious sandwiches, tiny quiches, seafood-filled croissants and mini cupcakes and Nanaimo bars. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very serene and elegant. The gift shop was a feast for the eyes! Kathleen, the owner, was gracious and friendly.
I'll be back, either for high tea or lunch off the menu. You should go, too. Support your local businesses - the Wilsons have owned this building for about 100 years and are still part of the community!”
