Spoke on the phone about a truck asked if it had any rust was told had small bit and was repaired. Took a day off work and drove two hours to see the truck to find it’s rotted out and rust had been covered up in very poorly done rock guard. Asked twice about any issues with the truck and failed to mention check engine light on both times. Would not recommend.

J & R Auto gets the vehicles the dealers don't want and there is a reason. Don't be fooled by the InspectaCar inspection and vehicle history. We bought this truck solely as a very part time second vehicle and to pull our trailer. Shortly after we bought it and drove it a couple of times, issues started coming up that were not noticed during our short test drive (we had a false sense of security given the InspectaCar report that showed us nothing wrong with the vehicle). Brad offered to buy back the truck after a month (but only driven a few times) for a "small fee of $1500.00". Not falling for that, he agreed to make some repairs - front suspension, belt tensioner, power steering line and tire balancing. He also ensured us it went through a second, very thorough inspection. Since then, we have had to replace the rear suspension, master brake cylinder, gas cap (check engine light continues to come on with the same code, so obviously that is a bigger problem) and yet to be done is a transfer case seal (it is now leaking oil), manifold leak, and a bushing in the steering wheel. On top of all this, it was pointed out to us that the box is a slightly different color, indicating that is was repainted (accident not reported, hence nothing on car fax report??). I'd hate to see what happens should we ever need to drive this truck full time, instead of the few times a month we currently do. I gave a 1 for service only because he did do some of the repairs. However, given the repairs done and to be done in the short time we've had it and the few KM's we've put on it, it's obviously a piece of junk we've been sold under the false pretense of a clean inspection report.

We are now on our 4th vehicle from J&R. Brad and Sean have been nothing short of amazing. They are helpful and honest. Each time we told them what we're looking for and a price range we could afford and every time they have found us exactly what we needed. If you are in the market for a good used, reliable vehicle, this is the place to go. We can't thank you both enough!!

J and R Auto offers EXCELLENT customer service. I am a single mother and their first priority was to get me into a vehicle that was safe, comfortable, and reliable for my family. They are a reputable used car lot that prides themselves on treating people right, and they proved that to me when I wasn't completely happy with one vehicle, I brought it in 4 months later and they offered me a great trade in value and a great deal on a different vehicle that I am in LOVE with :) Thanks J and R Auto!
