We have a JackChi who is impossible to trim nails on our own. The staff at Pet Valu get it done lickity split with minimal stress to our Guns. Well worth the money to get a professional to do it.

Absolutely amazing service, rarely do you find employees so eager to help. Debbie was amazing and had great answers to our many questions, helping us make an educated choice on what to purchase. She was well informed and knew exactly how to help.

Purchased items from this store over the yrs for both mine and my kids cats and dogs and I currently have a new puppy !
My friend and I rescued 2 pups recently, we both purchased beds and toys from the north side Pet Value but weren’t told about their coupon book. My friend was given a book the next time he was in the North side store so when I went to the store on the west side to purchase some puppy shampoo I enquired as to whether they had and if the coupon books. I got this long drawn out response from a young girl about how they don’t just give them out to just anyone as people abuse them but maybe if I brought my puppy in the store !
Quite insulting ! I wouldn’t take advantage of a coupon book nor lie that I had a new pup !

The staff isn’t friendly. Pet stores across the city are much more pleasant to deal with than this location. They are unwelcoming and speak in condescending tones

Used the self serve pet wash. Amazing staff were great. Very helpful price was good and they gave shampoo, Aprons and treats. I defiantly will be returning.

Nothing but sass from the 3 staff at this location. We came to wash our dogs and attempted to call before traveling to the store, last time we showed up the dog wash was closed and we had to go elsewhere. We called 3 times but no answer, so we went anyways. When we arrived we were greeted resistance by 3 staff standing around the counter, they informed that the self serve dog wash is "appointment only" and they we should have called first........ Everyone has their own things going on but if you work at a pet store and are this grumpy when someone wants to spend money, maybe you should have stayed home.
