Today, I came in the store to purchase a new pet fishy, my partners 4 year old daughter. The store is extremely organized and has a very welcoming vibe and feel to it.
We made our way over to the aquatic section and started looking around.
I had no clue about which was the easiest and simplest to set up and take off, so I asked the employee who was working in the area.
I never got his name, but he was extremely knowledgeable and insightful with answering all the questions I had.
He helped me pick out and choose all the things that I needed to set up a "Beta" starter kit and helped me do it, so that was exactly at my budget.
If you are planning to get a new fish or even add another pet to your family, i would highly recommend going to Petland and talking with one of the employees there.
I am very grateful and satisfied with the level of customer service I received, and I will be going back there in the future.
I give Petland 5/5 stars and to the employee that helped me this morning, I just want to say thank you for making this experience as easy and price as affordable as possible.

I wish the prices on the shelf were better displayed. We had a $30 off coupon on regular price but could tell it was on sell. Please get a better system.

Squeamish about feeding live mice to snakes so I’ve had to switch to gerbils at other establishments since that’s all I can get in this town. Lol
Not ideal as they are much cuter but we will get what we can.
Doesn’t stop snake owners from feeding live.. just makes us have to compromise. 1 star for being less humane to reptiles and more so for rodents. Freezing rodents seems more cruel to me than a natural death from the food chain. ?♀️

I hadn't visited in years after a negative experience with staff handling of a live animal, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see some of the changes that have taken place. The drip tanks for the betta fish was the biggest one for me, although all the fish seem to be better cared for now. The employee in the fish area (white-blonde hair, I didn't catch her name) is my reason for leaving a review - she was excellent, and seemed to actually care that betta fish go to decent homes.
(fyi for anyone interested in getting one, they need at least a 2.5 - 5 gal tank with a filter and heater)

Lots of pet care and food choices at competitive price. I like that it is locally owned with friendly staff. Particularly large selection of aquarium animals. I also like that you can save in certain areas because they carry bulk quantities of a lot of pet food and pet bedding.

Took my chihuahua Howard in for a bath & nail trim etc,,, he loved it,, he smelled so nice and his nails looked awesome- Dilyn was great with him and I was 100 % satisfied with the services- will reccommend Petland to my friends with pets and thanks again to Dilyn - will will be back :-)

Good company. Owner cares and is compassionate. Prices are abit high but worth the quality. Especially on fish!
