I love this place. There is always a treasure tucked away in plain sight. I just paid $100 a surround sound speaker set worth over $750. Can't do that at Walmart. It just keeps getting better. Until they added self checkout. Real bad way of getting rid of peoples jobs. ***Update to my review. Still a great store but the self checkout by force still sucks. I can go in and look around but if I see even one person at the checkout line then I put the stuff I was going to buy back. With seniors and challenged people you need to have an option to self and regular checkout. And they should all accept cash not just two out of eight. I know tons of folks that prefer to pay cash.
Thank you and goodnight.

Way too expensive. We visited every thrift shop in town this day and VV was by far the most expensive. I'd rather support thrift shops that put their profits back into our community

I've had some people tell me that they prefer not to shop at a place with second-hand clothes.
In my view, this place will likely see a steady increase in business, as top notch stores continue to become overpriced and further out of reach for most people.

"We are a *for-profit* company that champions reuse."
The prices are getting a little out of hand on some items, feels disingenuous being called "Value Village" a lot of the time. VHS cleaner kit for $7.99 is one example. It's not that I needed a VHS cleaner, most people don't, but that's the point. $2 would be a more than fine. $25.99 for a pre-owned wind breaker from the early 2000s? Come on guys...

Great store and really nice staff. Just remember the coupons you get for donating something is 20% off just the first $50 you spend. Super great incentive to donate before going shopping. I wish there were fitting rooms to try things on, but I understand why they don't have them anymore. Still a great store.
