Bought an iPad and on March 29th it is acting funny, shuts off and doesn't do anything. Took it into Best buy and golly g they can't service it so I have to deal with Apple on a 5-month-old iPad that they sold. So obviously they've lost me as a customer cuz I will never go back in there if they cannot service what they sell.
Took it somewhere else, all it needed was a new battery.

All I'm trying to do is contact someone about technical issues with my TV I just recently purchased.
I can only call Best Buy Canada, and not my local store.
After the automated call center repeatedly screws up my requests, it finally tells me I cannot speak to a representative without buying a membership for $240/annual, or I have to pay $40 for a call.
If this is what I have to end up doing for a simple question this will most likely be the end of me buying from Best Buy.

No Xbox controllers at all in stock how does it get this bad. I will never step foot inside a best buy again. Either out of stock or you have to wait for it delivered.

Customer awareness and service are lacking. I was in july 24th at 4:45, wanting to order a next gen console for a birthday, The lady closest to the consoles directed me to the cashiers to which I went out of the 3 people standing there only 1 person was helping people so I left without service

I ordered 2 refrigers, one was picked up at Lloydminster Best Buy and the other was picked up in Calgary. After 20 days of waiting, I did not receive the refriger on the specified date and address on the same day, The Calgary staff told me that the refriger was in the warehouse in Edmonton. which caused me a lot of trouble. I had to leave Calgary on the same day and waited for many days before I got a refund. The negligence of the staff and the lax work status are incomprehensible.
And I haven't received another refrigerator delivery yet. It's been 40 days.

I never really write reviews but thought I would for these folks.I just wanted to express how fricking fantastic the Best Buy squad is in the Lloydminster division. I have major trust issues and I trust absolutely no one with my PC I built. However the crew in Lloyd I have no worries at all when I brought/bring my PC in.This PC I build cost me a fortune to build (video editing) and I'm not done, so it's understandable how I have trust issues haha.I had some software issues when building it so I had the squad fix them.I buy pretty much anything and everything from here and always will so long as they stay as awesome as they are.

Best buy has consistently given me fantastic service, regardless of how busy it is. Always a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and the General Manager Darryl has went above and beyond to assist on multiple occasions. Without a doubt one of the best retail locations in town.

**update 5 years later....
Heading straight to the cell phone counter to buy a cell phone. Not even an acknowledgment from the dude behind the counter. I'm the Only customer in the store, and standing right in front of them. He was certainly interested in chatting with his co-workers, but not a customer. I knew what I wanted to buy and ready to pay on the spot. No eye contact, or anything. Just furiously ignored. Worst customer service ever. Will go buy elsewhere tomorrow 100% guaranteed. FU best buy. Totally gone downhill.

Best Buy still has good coverage and service plans but it’s not like it used to be. Unlike when they first opened after Future Shop closed, there is very limited products and options to shop for. A lot of times some sections are almost or completely empty. It’s almost like a premium electronics “dollar store” atmosphere now. I Used to love shopping there. It’s still the only option in our city to shop for electronics but the amount of products
