Gold Star Liquor is a family-owned business with a huge and unbelievable selection of beer, wine, and liquor, possibly the largest in Southern Alberta. It features a huge refrigerated section and walk-in cooler. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make customers feel welcome. The store offers good prices and an overall great experience. While the aesthetic is not great, the broad selection and amazing prices are highly recommended.
Besides their good prices and friendly service, one thing I like is that the price on the product is the price you pay at the till. Why can't other liquor stores do this? I find it humorous that this store is always busy and probably makes 10 times as much money as the guy who owns at least 4 liquor stores in the same area... read full comment

The best liquor store in Medicine Hat, bar none. Better selection than larger stores in Calgary. Price is better than Superstore and other discounters. A friendly family run business, I won't buy anywhere else when I visit the Hat.
