We have lived in the Millet area for 32 years and found nothing but friendly efficient service with a smile at the Millet Postal outlet.

So disappointed in the service of this little post office. I sent two packages to my senior parents who checked every day for the packages I sent. Apparently not having the PO Box was cause for them to send the packages back. There were four stickers on the returned packages… could they not have put the effort in to typing in the package address to find which PO Box it belonged to. Why couldn’t there be a delivery card notice dropped at the actual residence. It cost $30 for each package to be delivered, could Canada Post surely not have gotten it done for that price?!I called and asked what happened and the blame was shifted to other coworkers. Horrible customer service especially at the holiday season. Small town Millet has small minds for customer service

I seriously can't describe how utterly neurotic the Millet post office is. Some of the staff are really good, others are just... something. It's very hit or miss and is almost never an enjoyable experience. I really don't understand why the default when receiving a package without a box number on it, while the house number and everything else is, is to send it back immediately. They have that information!! I understand that most of the time, there should be a box number but how hard is it to look up a house number. The package I have been trying to get in since September has been such an issue because they keep sending it back. This has never happened in the numerous municipalities I have lived in. This is such a hassle every time I have a package it's awful.

My husband recently went to pick up a parcel for me and the lady there would not give it to him. We have the same last name, same address and I even called to give her my permission for my husband to pick up my parcel, but they still refused. We’ve picked up each others mail for 7 years since moving here, they know us both at the post office and yet they still refused to give it to him the other day.

Why would you have a phone number if you never pick up anyway.

After dealing with this post office for over 30 years and found the service great to mediocre, today was a nasty one. If you are too miserable to give customer service retire. Then I won't bother you anymore just asking a simple question in minus 45 weather that determines if I drive into town. Kindness goes a long way.

Lived in 8 different places in and around the Edmonton area in almost 8 years, and this is by far the worst post office out of all of them. Office closed sometimes 10 minutes early. Two senior staff members in particular are painful to deal with, make no effort to help resolve issues and are overall just terrible people to have in a public relations position.

Service is always 50/50 I get some employees are only doing their job, but the ones who have known you for years tend to treat you better. It would also be nice to be able to find the online number when looking on Google maps.

While half of the staff is friendly, and for lack of a better word, “normal”, there are 3 specific members of staff that are litigious to the point of being obstructive, consistently and completely disinterested in any merit of customer service and almost compulsively driven to default to “no” as an answer to ANY question. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had my mail withheld or been denied access to my mail over arbitrary “violations” of “procedure and policy” after my valid Alberta Drivers License was deemed non-sufficient for their purposes, even though no one could tell me precisely what those policies and procedures are. This afternoon, my daughter was also denied access to a parcel addressed to her with an address that matched her valid government issued ID and her father present with his ID as well with only a dismissive “she’s underaged” given as a reason and absolutely no opportunity to explore the policy or resolutions before they were flatly refused service. Interestingly, when I accompanied her minutes later and presented MY ID, the attending clerk didn’t so much as glance at anymore than my picture before handing the package over. Having lived in MANY communities throughout the years, I can confidently say that I have NEVER encountered such a neurotic commitment to difficulty in any other Canada Post Office. If you have ANY other option for shipping or correspondence, I highly recommend pursuing it.

Leanne was amazing helpful and took the time to explain everything step by step. This came after going to the Rexall post office and having just been given a phone number to call.
