the tellers are always so nice everytime I come in! there was one time I stupidly filled my coin wrappers a little to much the lady recounted them for me and made sure to give me the proper amount which was a extra $16 that I almost shorted myself, opps lol at least she was sweet enough to put it in my account for me haha

I guess I would have to say that at least I have had positive experiences with the tellers.

The "new" staff have completely changed the atmosphere of the bank. The tellers are rude, the advisors are inexperienced. When I have to bank at a teller it feels like I'm bothering them, one teller 5 people in line.Horrible service and attitude.Joanne the bank manager from a few years ago is surely missed.I am moving my mortgage and line of credit to another location.

Zack was very rude and disrespectful. He had an attitude with me the whole time when I was trying to figure out how I had 7 thousand dollars stolen out of my account as a 19 year old. He couldn’t explain why my E-transfer limit of $1000 didn’t work and how they couldn’t catch the fraud before 80% of my money was drained from my account. I’ve always had issues with online banking with scotia, they really just don’t have a good service, but NEVER have I felt so disregarded and disrespected by an employee. I am definitely switching banks.

I recently opened an account so yes it’s only been a few months. I had to change over all the banking info etc so my tax benefit arrived through the mail. I deposited it immediately Wednesday AM because I rely on that monthly benefit to buy my kids food, and Scotia has been holding it ever since. Over a week now. It’s a government issued CHILD tax benefit. I need that money for my children, this is ridiculous that your cheque holding policy can withhold funds from innocent children. I have never had this issue with royal bank or TD. I shouldn’t have switched banks.

Great branch, they are very forgiving when I used to lose my debt card every other day lol. I never paid for a new one once!
