I have an old F150. After several years of neglect (from both me and the previous owner), it had a list of issues needing to be addressed. I called Technical, describing known problems and explaining that I didn't want to spend much to fix this truck up. I said that I was prepared to junk the truck if repair costs ran too high. They convinced me to take it in for a look. After 3-4 hours they called back telling me the cause of each issue I described. In many cases the fix was much less significant than I expected. Initially fearing a repair estimate of over $2000 or $3000, I was shocked when told the estimate was $515! It was ready for pickup a short time later, and in better repair than it had ever been since I bought the truck. Thank you, Technical. Excellent job diagnosing all the issues; performing cost-effective repairs; and not trying to run up the bill in any way. Well done! I'll be back next time a vehicle needs work.

Couldn't diagnose the problem on my vehicle, they ordered in a part, installed it, didn't work. Then proceeded to charge me for it. They then acted shocked when I asked them to remove it. I have to miss more work now. I also had to call them to ask for an update on my vehicle.Upon returning to pick up, they did remove the part from my invoice and install the original. They were able to explain a little more clearly what they thought the problem might be. They still offered few suggestions. They also told me the car was not overheating, but first drive the next day, this was not the case.

Had winter tires installed, very happy with the service. After calling many tire shops in Edmonton and hearing that there was a 3 week wait time, I called Technical Automotive and the tires were installed the following day.

Not impressed with the work of this shop at all! Must be high school kids that work in the back because the 3 times I had work done I had to have the work redone over again because they must not be actual mechanics. I would definitely not recommend this shop.

I would not recommend this place. Got a quote for some work and when the job was completed, the bill was almost double. Not a good way of doing business. I will be taking my business elsewhere next time.

These guys are a joke stay far away! They have no idea how to fix anything. Had to bring my vehicle back 3 times and it's still not fix. Try any other automotive shop and you will be glad you did!

Save yourself the trouble and find any other place. If you want something done right, your better off doing it yourself with no knowledge or tools. The result will be the same

My family has been using this place since I was a teenager (I’m 31 now) and I’ve always heard great things. My wife got her brakes done a couple years ago very quickly, and today I got a power steering line and serpentine belt replaced with my car there under 24 hours. Prices are great as well. Simple, affordable, what else could you want in a auto shop?Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have been to Technical Automotives a few times and have always been treated in a friendly and professional manner. Today it is -37 with the wind chill and I've been having problems with my car starting. They took my car in immediately and replaced the battery under warranty! Even though they were busy, my car was ready within half an hour. I would highly recommend Technical Automotives!Service: Battery

I was trapped. I’m not from Morinville, I reside 50km away and my serpentine belt decided it was going to jump off my alternator. The staff acted quickly for me, got my vehicle to the shop (granted it died next door) and they got to work. This happened Wednesday at 4pm and was completed by 1pm the next day! And considering it’s the week back from holidays, I was extremely impressed! It was not only a belt replacement, but the entire pulley system. I was overly stressed being a full time student and single mother, and the price was very reasonable!!!!! I highly recommend to everyone!!!!! Thanks again!

Good shop. Got a few items repaired over the years here. Never felt they overcharged for the services rendered. The moral in the shop does seem a bit low however.Services: Exhaust
