For my daughter and her friend for Christmas I purchased 2 $50 gift cards. The manager running the register scanned 1 card twice, so I was charged $100 for a $50 card, while the other was not activated. When I tried to deal with the store, I was given an email because the clerks were unable to do anything, even though I had the inactive card and the original receipt showing the mistake. I tried head office but they didn't get back to me, so I spoke to the Olds store manager, Shannon. She was extremely rude from the get go, telling me they won't deal with that even though it was the fault of the store. Will not be shopping at this store anymore, and will be letting everyone I know not to waste their time or money on this place.

Extremely rude employees , literally yelled at my 7 year old daughter for being in an aisle she was stocking shelves in . First off there was nothing up showing the aisle was closed and for 2 , don't ever yell at another persons child .

DO NOT BUY GIFTCARDS FROM HERE!Long story but the jist is that I purchased a GC from this location. Their computers failed to activate the card.I was told they cannot help me to issue a refund and need to go to the supplier.I have contacted the supplier and was initially told to return to the store to get a refund at the store.Went to the store and the manager was unwilling/unable to assist me and certainly not willing to go above and beyond to contact the supplier or provide the contact for Dollaramas escalation department.So I am now nearly 3 weeks into email chains between Dollarama and the card supplier both saying thr refund comes from the other with no resolve or plan of action.So just keep in mind that ANY issues with GCs purchased from Dollarama you will not have any support to get it resolved. The store will sluff you off to the supplier. The supplier will sluff you off saying it's a store issue.

Always seem to find what I want 4 out of every 5 visits hence my rating. The staffs are always super nice.The store has enough items to keep you busy for a very long time and you'll definitely leave the store with more than you came for.Lots of parking and access to other great stores close by.Recently i found this drink it was awesome.

Recently expanded, they have stuff I haven't seen at other dollaramas. The aisles are still pretty cramped, but the extra inventory makes up for it.

It's a very bad experienceI bought about 500 dollars and asked for an empty box, but when the manager went to the trash can outside, she told me to bring it because there was a box. Then I asked her to do it with tape, and she said didn't have it, but if she didn't want to buy it, she told me not to buy itdon't go this location

My mother in law experienced a races situation here where another customer was racist and told her to go back to China. This is unacceptable behaviour and will be reported to police.

Yesterday the systems for debit were on and off but nobody working told anyone till they got to the till and some was working and sometimes not. They should have had someone to say something before approaching the till. However by the time I got up to pay for my stuff the machines were still not working and the lady behind the till seemed beyond confused on how to help anyone. The machine timed out 3 times and then I decided to check my banking and it shows a the dollar store took the amount from my account and thee lady said rudely that it still did not go through and my banking would adjust accordingly. Well it has not and they still have my money and I don’t have product. Today I called and the lady was nothing but short with me and did not try to help at all but only give me an email to deal with their store problem. Thanks Olds Dollarama for the so called customer service!

Exceptional customer service. Smiles. Laughter. Feels like a fun place to shop. Had a great experience as you can tell. Staff were excellent and willing to have a little banter which breaks their day up and gives the sense of a more relaxed shopping experience. The only complaint I have is the same everyone else has, go in for one thing, leave with a bag full. Thank you for making this store awesome!
