One cashier with 5 people in line. 3 people sitting in their offices on the side. You make record profits each year, CIBC, pay another cashier or train someone. it’s embarrassing

I've been banking with CIBC for 9, almost 10, years, and this branch has always been my favorite. However the manager Christine completed changed that for me. She refuses to cash my cheque fully, even though its never been a problem before. I've cashed thousand dollar cheques that cleared instantly, but a 300 one gets a 40 day hold? She also treatly me poorly and looked at me like I wasn't supposed to he in there. Never once have I ever been treated that way by anyone working before. Christine, the heavy set woman with the ginger wig. I will be taking this to corporate. Just because I am a young indigenous man doesn't mean she gets to treat me as if I'm less than.

Was my home branch tried to cash cheques and they told me it would be on a 5 day business hold so I say no take the same cheque to wetaskiwin they cash it no problem so I switched them to my home branch they such nice ladies

It's a big bank. What can I say. I use simpli financial because it free and CIBC was to expensive .

I am not impressed by the branch manager. I will not being doing business here ever specifically because of my interactions with her. I want a forward thinking bank who is interested in aiding me in making money instead of being a hindrance and stickler for the rules. I do know a few people who work here who are great to deal with but the bottom line is that they are under the control of the branch manager so I will not be a customer.
