Husky (Wow Store Ponoka) is a fantastic and unexpected stop. Don't let the exterior or its past fool you; the inside is incredibly clean, well-kept, and nice. It offers an unreal variety, including incredible Korean fried chicken, an ice cream bar, cakes, and Miniso-like shopping with hats, clocks, candles, and fireworks. The renovations and new kitchen are fantastic. The owners are wonderful, providing friendly service with great smiles. Many say it's the best gas station in Canada, with everything cheap and worth stopping for. It is a must-see when in the area.

I love this place. It's got so many things like cakes, an ice cream bar and my now favorite chicken. I've also done some Christmas shopping there because they have some cool hats, clocks, candles and fireworks. Thank you Sarah and Kim for the friendly smiles and great service.

I always thought this husky gave me the haunted vibes of the old Ponoka hospital. Walked in to find it’s haunted by the best chicken in town, incredibly clean inside and lots of neat options. Unreal.
