kari resendes the supposed service manage at this location is a disgrace to every auto service manager in the industry. do not service your vehicle for any reason poorly managed seemly inexperienced persons who are certified to do nothing. that's if you can find any one in the service department when there not on vacation

on Thursday the 11th May, 2023 we were in Banff, Alberta and the local IGA grocery store were having their grand reopening. The store had been completely renovated and is beautiful. The staff, without exception, were friendly and went out of their way to help. The owners, Shawn and Marie Eltom were also on hand greeting people and gave away $25 gift cards to the first 100 customers. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area..

I had a flat tire on one of my vehicles, so I dropped off the tire at Canadian Tire.The tire repair technician directed me over to the service desk. He immediately started the repair procedure.I had just finished giving my information when he came back, and to me, "Your tire is ready, sir!That is what I call excellent service!

Today July 7,2022 after leaving Sobeys I noticed one of my rear tires was almost flat. I slowly drove next door to Canadian "Tire" as I was under the impression their Automotive Department serviced customers with any "Tire" problems. Boy I sure got that wrong. The nice young fellow advised me to pull in front of the last bay and before I could do that he came and told me they would be unable to put air in my tire because there was no staff able to do that. As hopefully you can understand that I was confused as I saw with my own eyes staff. I asked to speak to a manager and a lady came out and explained to me that the staff who could help me had already left for the day. The time was 4:45 PM. I asked her if I could do it myself and of course that was out of the question although I am a 70 year old woman and have filled a few tires in my time. The lady then proceeded to tell me to go across the street to Kal Tire or Fas Gas. I was afraid I would ruin my tire or worse but no deal. I was advised by a nice gentlemen in a truck that I would be OK to do that. I drove up to a bay at Kal Tire and in less than 5 minutes my problem was solved. The moral of the story DO NOT GO TO CANADIAN TIRE FOR "TIRE" SERVICE. GO TO KAL TIRE, GREAT SERVICE AND THEY HAVE AIR AND STAFF WHO ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE THAT SERVICE. Linda W.

Did exactly the opposite of what I asked.Bought 2 new tires to go on the back. The 2 decent ones on back to move front. The bald front 2 thrown out.Threw out the 2 good ones and put the bald ones on back?

I was in a world of trouble, stuck in an emergency situation with a dead car that had to be towed to their garage. They did a diagnostic on it and quickly found the problem as I was scared to death that it might be an electrical issue that would take forever to track down and would drain my bank account to fix. What a relief to experience such courteous service. They had my vehicle up and running in no time at all. They are honest and fair and they went above and beyond their obligation. I went Here yesterday to find the washrooms locked. Locked during a pandemic? Elderly people and vulnerable people are denied basic human rights at this store. While waiting for a manager at customer service, I heard several customers being refused a refunds, strategy was to avoid giving refunds at all cost. Mr. Don Murray, franchise owner, should run Chinese Communist Prison Camps. There is no respect for customers here and if you return an item, you will face resistance and if you plan poorly, you will leave the store soaked in urine. Shame on you Mr. Don Murray. I also left a message for Manager Shawn. I called the South Red Deer store and found the washrooms are open, my call was handled respectfully and the return policy seems better based on my "test" question. Go to South store, owned by a more ethical local franchise owner with a more respectful customer service team.

They did an out of province inspection on my vehicle. It failed. Fine. They did not give me the full report, put vin number 12345. They could not get the parts so I decided to go to Edmonton and get all done at Canadian tire. The service manager here is trying to get access to the records but can’t because Kerry in Red deer did not do this job properly. She admitted after a day finally that I needed to wait for that for 1 hour. She failed to give me a copy of the government form as well. She said she could not get the information from the computer because their computer froze. If you think these are just coincidence ... you are wrong. I called her many times to fax the government document to Edmonton, she lied and said she sent everything. A half hour later the manager in Edmonton had to ask her again because she did not sent anything... she waisted hours of my time and hours of the Canadian Tire services energy and time because of her incompetence or laziness. I will file a complaint to the head office as well as Transportation Alberta ! The service associate hung up on me twice and when I said to Kerry I will complain about this disgusting customer service she hung up on me. NEVER SAID “I AM SORRY FOR THIS” NEVER. I hope she will be replaced by someone who meets the job requirements of a service manager.
