About Indigo - Red Deer
Chapters Indigo is a Canadian company based in Toronto, known for its wide selection of books and friendly atmosphere. Customers appreciate supporting a local Canadian business rather than larger online retailers. The stores, such as Indigo Red Deer, are praised for their great atmosphere, helpful staff, and excellent book selection. While some miss the in-store Starbucks and kiosks for looking up books, the staff are always friendly and willing to assist, and the app is helpful for finding specific titles. Customers also commend the professionalism and calmness of the management during difficult situations, highlighting positive customer service experiences. The store offers a variety of titles, with some wish for a larger selection of philosophy books. Additionally, Indigo sometimes stocks unexpected items, like readers' sunglasses, which customers find surprising and convenient. Overall, Indigo is valued for its good selection, welcoming environment, and attentive staff, making it a popular place for book lovers.

Have really enjoyed this place since I was a kid, FOR YEARS. The books can be a little expensive sometimes but I suppose that’s Indigos everywhere. Being able to grab coffee and sit down with a friend is wonderful.

Always good to peruse a bookstore, although it seems less full and indigo branding is a high markup.
