This place often has items that are past their expiring dates. Always check the expiring dates. If you have allergies you'll discover when it's too late.

Used to get all my montego curry here. They don't have the large size any more and the price has gone up. Which is OK. What really bums me out was paying $26.99 for a ten pack of froze Jamaican patties only to find they had spoiled and been re frozen. Tried eating one and the beef filler had basically decomposed into just substanceless jelly and it made my stomach very ill the night i ate it. Extremely dissapointing Much of the food is unlabeled in terms of price. People are nice enough and they do have a good assortment of spices and canned goods. Maybe just beware the perishables? N2s if I'll try again. Well see.

I'm not African but was greated so warmly. I was looking for ingredients to cook some African dishes I had recently tasted. The lady running the store spent time with me & was a great help. I have been back since & was greated with a big smile & the same great service. Looking forward to another visit back today because I know I'll be treated with the same great help.
