“The Kerry Wood Nature Centre is a fantastic natural area in the heart of Red Deer. The 4 km scenic trail takes just under an hour to walk and includes some inclines and steps. (People with limited mobility can enjoy the shorter trail.)You’re guaranteed to spot some interesting wildlife from one of the lookouts along the way. There’s an outdoor play area for kids to enjoy. Inside there are exhibits, artwork, and a store (which sells ice cream!) The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.”
