The pharmacists and girls there are always so pleasant , helpful and friendly My medications are always ready I never have to wait. I highly recommend anybody to this pharmacy.

Number of years ago I asked people of Facebook what pharmacy they recommend as I was not happy with my current big box store pharmacy. Overwhelming amount of people said “Parsons”, so I put my trust in the people of Facebook and transferred my prescriptions over to Parsons and haven’t looked back since.
Sheldon, Spencer, Cassie and Mackenzie always go above and beyond, making everyone feel like a VIP when you walk in the door. The team creates an amazing small town feel, engages in conversations that you can talk about anything from health and catching up with life to favourite conspiracy theories, dinosaurs and everything in between.
Other things that make them great:
-prescribing pharmacy
-service time is maybe 10 minutes for most medication (prescription drop off to walking out with medication)
-free delivery
-sometimes there is chocolate
I am going to be sad when the day comes and I won’t be needing to come in multiple times a week for medication.

Really impressed in my brief visit here. From Red Deer but living in Edmonton now and have kept my psychiatrist in Red Deer for many years. Was down the other day for an appointment with the Dr., went to this pharmacy to fill a few days worth of my prescription until I got back to Edmonton.
I have used a national chain pharmacy for a long time and each refill feels like a whole ordeal - arguing every time because my refill is every 24 days but they can’t change that their system shows every 30 days, so every refill I sit and explain this and then wait for them to count out the days since my last refill, then wait another 30-45 minutes just to have it filled.
Came into SRx yesterday, spent a few minutes at the front updating my info/insurance stuff, then (guessing) the pharmacist started chatting to me about the Oilers. While it was a pleasant conversation I was getting antsy as I expected this to be a 30+ minute wait to fill and I wanted to go grab something to eat while I waited.
After probably 5 minutes of chatting with him he started walking to the front, I expected to be told it’ll be a 30 minute wait but he actually already had the prescription ready to go!
All in, I think I probably spent 10 minutes in there total that included updating my info and insurance, getting my prescription ready, paying, and getting out the door. I have no idea how this wizard of a man managed to get all this done while at the same time being fully engaged in a pleasant conversation with me, but he did - and I’m impressed.
Overall was a wonderful experience. I didn’t think I’d ever be at a point of actually taking some time out of my day to review a pharmacy on google (much less, leaving a GOOD review), but here I am. Legitimately impressed by this experience, completely painless, quick, efficient, and the staff were amazing. I’m down in Red Deer often to see family and my new prescription is 2 months at a time/refill every 2 months and I am seriously considering just keeping my prescription in Red Deer and refilling it when I visit from Edmonton.

I don't normally post reviews, but everyone here was so kind and helpful and efficient, that I just had to. I'm not from red deer, but this immediately gave me a good impression of the people who live there. They knew everyone who came in and were so nice to me as well. Thanks for the help guys!

My wife and I are two seniors who recently moved to Red Deer and we chose this pharmacy based on it's 5-star rating, however there were issues right from the start with 3rd party billing. We were being charged more than what our insurance dictated and Parson's at first offered to lessen their charge to meet this. After our second order we were told our coverage must have changed and we should check with our provider, which we did and they informed us this was not the case. Finally, on our third order we had prescriptions delivered without a receipt. When we phoned to request one the pharmacist told us there were "too many problems" with us and moving forward he would charge us that higher amount from before and if we had a problem with that then we should go elsewhere. My wife is a retired pharmacy technician and in her 20+ years in the industry she has never encountered such completely unprofessional behaviour.

Sheldon was a life saver. As from just moving from nova scotia i had a ear infection and was searching for ear drops (red deer had a shortage) i found parsons on google and he got me in right away and prescribed them to me. The prices were reasonable and very friendly staff. The best service i have ever recieved for health care.
