I'm disabled and use Ross street because of their delivery service which is excellent...being homeless i have been to the actual pharmacy and if youve ever been in there and want to see a bee hive go to the back...haha...you will see at least 10 employees working extremely hard...(no govt workers here)...i read the comment below and i want to address it because being homeless drug addicts will storm a store and steal as much as they can...and ive seen it done...ask any walmart or superstore employee what they go through everyday...anyway...because they have a legitimate reason to go to ross street and the busyness of employees its looked at as an easy target and they go in large groups...now the worker below may also say that this person is a great person and is trying really hard to change...but they play their workers for extra subsities and mcDonalds cards ...free stuff...where im disabled..and lazy i fall behind on housework and my worker sold me on a girl that was such a great person and extremely honest who came to my place...brought a friend...they both ran around like chickens
moving stuff talking to me distracting me...they were here for an hour and 10 min charged me 120$ and left quickly with their backpacks that i found out later full of my stuff...robbed me blind...told the worker...she said i was lying and gave me back my brand new red pumas sneakers...my brand new under armour hiking boots and 40$...but watches 80$ cash cologne chromebook...Motorola phone bunch of expensive fast charging cables wireless ear buds 4 pairs....2 ipods with over 3000 songs...old but i used them on the walking trails...anyway you get the idea...im sure there was a history there and they where being as professionalas humanly possible ...anyway...I've had my own place for almost a year...I've been to the pharmacy and they're great...but wow...you think McDonald's kids go hard at lunchtime...thats these guys all day.. .and I've met all the drivers and theyre fantastic...I always get smiles...but I've never stolen from them...I know if I meet my house cleaner in Walmart I'm not gonna be a Karen and have a complete meltdown ?.. I'll still say Hi...but I won't be pleasant...
5 stars from this guy...sorry for the story it's my ADHD...I'll readers digest version it on my next review ?...I'm here cause I just ordered my Meds...Should see James in about 20min?????

I’ve had very different experiences of treatment of the staff at this IDA. So when I come here on my own time to get a prescription I am treated normally, staff are all reasonably friendly. But when I am working, and have brought a client into this particular IDA location (I work in addictions & mental health) there have been times I’ve accompanied my clients to assist them with picking up their prescriptions (more times than not I work with unhoused individuals) Well the treatment we have received is unfair and feels bias. We don’t feel welcomed, the client feels judged and in my opinion is not treated with respect or dignity. I have had more than 3 experiences at IDA on Ross street. The male pharmacist is actually the main one who does not treat my clients (or probably anyone who appears to be unhoused) with same respect and integrity as the people who do not appear to be unhoused. I am not saying every single staff member treats everybody unfair or poorly bcuz that is simply not true. I just know from my different experiences there that you get treated differently based off assumptions of the way you look…… So if A big named lawyer that’s treated with respect, dignity, and human decency… Should be the same exact treatment that EVERYBODY gets, unhoused, housed etc. no matter what. You could be in there shoes one day. Nobody is better than nobody.

This has been my pharmacy for years now and will continue to be for many more, majority of the staff are great and the ladies at the front are always kind and friendly.

For at least 15 years this pharmacy has provided me prompt, courteous, professional service, for any thing I may need. My schedule does not always allot for a regular refill system. These pro’s are always ready to help. I highly recommend Dennis, Shane, Carly, and staff. By far the best pharmacy in central Alberta! ✊

My only pharmacy I trust for 19 years going here. Dennis, Shane, Ashley .... never had a problem in all those years and their delivery driver is amazing too. After my surgery my meds were free of charge to the door.If you want small-town feel in the big city this is where it's at, the owner met my fiance with our premature Son compounded caffeine so he could pick it up to bring it home as he had a 20ft gooseneck behind his pick up and couldn't angel park downtown to grab it before heading to Caroline. And to some, it was just caffeine to a little boy that spent 78 days at The Alberta Children's Hospital in the NICU requiring major surgery on day three of life at 2 lb he had a perforated lower intestine and the caffeine stimulates his heart rate to help him regulate breathing it saves his life and allows him to be at home with his family while his lungs develop and he learns how to breathe properly.

This pharmacy helped me out in a very situation my pharmacy has weird hours because of renovations I was unaware that they were closed fortunately Ida Ross was there for me and helped me with my situation thank you for being awesome?

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, who help me with Vitamin water needs. Also they sell cliff bars and drugs too! Sarah is always on her game when I come in with questions about time travel.
