I don't feel like waiting 20 minutes in the lineup. So I just left my groceries in the cart and left. Why not open up more tills.
I will never come back so it doesn't matter to me.

Very disappointed that they rarely have the seafood items advertised in the weekly flyers. After a third trip in yesterday to get advertised seafood items (1 day after flyer) I once again left empty handed. Given this appears to be a trend rather than an anomaly I won’t be going back. Rain checks are given but have to value if the products are never available. Kind of like this review the owner will never read. Personally I’d read the reviews and run my business with more customer attention. Curious if staff rolling eyes in displeasure at customers is part of the training? More rude behaviour by staff here than any other store in red deer.

The employee name Russ (supervisor) is so rude and arrogant and said at my store no one is allowed 3 minutes to close. Because it is my store.
Poor customer service and he shouldn’t be supervisor at all.

I just went there earlier today and on the way to the checkout I walked by a long line. I asked the last guy in line which line he was in, and he said he was behind another guy in front of him, then I asked that guy what line he was in. He said he was in line #5. Then I walked to the next line that only had one person. The guy in the long line cut me off and said he was before me. I told him that he said he was behind another guy and should be in another line, if he wanted to go to this line he would have to go behind me. Thats why we had a fight between each other. I admit that I yelled and that is my problem. The cashier called in a coworker, who i tried to tell what happened. He didn't seem to listen to mt story because I'm Asian. He yelled at me to get out several times. And then another cashier tried to help me out, but the guy yelling at me told her not to. I told the man yelling at me to get out and check the cameras to know what happened. I told the guy that work there u can't yelled at me when you are not witnessed the whole things was happening. I was swear at the worker that that was yelled at me before I left. I know I don't go to independence shop anymore you guy still wealthy and successful. But I hope you guy have a better person to solve the situation better. Don't be racist on Asian doesn't matter whatever happens you guy take on Canadian side.

This store often smells like a sewer. Most of the meats look old. The employees aren't generally friendly or helpful. The cashiers will only bag your groceries if you buy new bags.

I was going to buy a jug of International Delights coffee creamer, but it seemed a little expensive. Looked up the price at Walmart, it was 25% cheaper. This is why people are boycotting Loblaws.

The cashiers can't even be bothered to bag your groceries anymore unless you buy new bags. Bread is always old. Smells like sewer over by the frozen food area up front. Been a customer for many years, however I will never return.
