if you saw how much stuff I had in my hands, and how sick I was and the day I had.. you’d think I was crazy for stopping myself at a bench right outside to say Sophia is a absolute gem of a person and employee and I am so very thankful for not only her wonderful attitude and chipper personality but for the kindness in her eyes. Tricia also was a wonderful addition to an already beautiful experience.
I hope you can give both of these employees a thank you that means something because I will make sure to bring business to you guys solely for this.

My husband & I stopped to grab salmon dinner here this evening in Red Deer & the employee behind the counter (Lily is her name. I had to ask an employee to tell me her name) took my order without any issue, but when it came to my husband she ignored him and was clearly going out of her way to avoid taking his order. She then tried to take the order from the person in line after us and she had to be told again my husband was ordering and was asking that his salmon be heated and she ignored him, even though she could clearly hear what he was saying. She packaged the salmon, place it on the counter and walked away - unheated. I had to get her male coworker's attention in order to have our order completed. She then only heated 1 item and not the other. Again, had to be asked repeatedly to heat the item. It was so strange and rude. She clearly was trying to avoid interacting with him & there was 0 reason for it.
It made the whole experience unpleasant and honestly ignorant & completely unexpected in a place like Sunterra where we've had good experiences before this evening.

I am a HUGE fan of Sunterra Calgary (All Locations) as I grew up and grew to love Sunterra since day 1. As an adult I have moved close to red deer and was very excited when Sunterra first opened. To be honest, I’ve tried time and time again to hold back this review as I know opening a new store is no easy task, however, Sunterra Red Deer has been open long enough now and I have enough poor experiences there from customer service to good quality to confidently write this unfortunate review. Sunterra Calgary is held to a COMPLETELY different standard of freshness and customer service in comparison to Red Deer. Their presentation in Calgary is beautiful, the employees are friendly and the food is ALWAYS fresh. Our experience in Red Deer has been so poor to the point we buy all of our ready made meals at Sunterra Calgary. In Red Deer we have had nothing but poor quality like banana bread cut into wedges, fruit platters that look awful and a shrimp pasta that contained far less shrimp than what we get in Calgary. I have bought hard puffed wheat squares and expired cheese at a premium. I’m less than impressed Sunterra and it kills me to write this review. Please fix the quality in Red Deer and the customer service.

Ordering a simple sandwich to go took forever! Got told 5 minutes for it to be ready, took 30 minutes to get done if I had known it would take that long I wouldn’t have ordered! Always spend a lot of time in the Calgary location and have a great experience! The Red Deer location is such a let down in comparison!!

We have bought so many things here in hopes that one day we might actually find something that's good.
Everything is flavorless, bland, dry, stale and apparently no one believes in salt & pepper.
I know this is harsh but time and time again we buy something that looks good and we are constantly let down.
We just had a take home chicken pesto lasagna that was $34.99 and we had plastic in the cheese, the chicken was from a rotisserie chicken.. that was dry and again flavorless with no salt and pepper.
We couldn't even finish it.
Save your money and go to Costco.

Awesome selection of products. Expensive, yes, but the service is awesome. I purchased a slice of carrot cake from the coffee bar and the two ladies working the counter were very friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping there.

Unable to post a zero score (we left empty-handed). Picked up a couple of 3-course dinners at 20 bucks apiece. Got to the checkout and no one was there. Plenty of other employees doing other jobs, but no cashier. Waited 5 minutes, then left our dinners near the checkout area and went elsewhere. Not very impressed with the "service". Won't be back anytime soon.

I emailed Sunterra, the response i received was that the manager would contact me in the next 2 days. After 5 days of waiting for a manager to contact me, I messaged again and was told they would contact the manager. The manager than reached out to me and said they'd like to make it right, to let them know when I'd like to pick up another meal at no charge. I emailed them to make arrangements to pick up in 2 days... that was over 3 WEEKS ago, and I've heard nothing back.
The manager at the Red Deer location could care less about keeping customers. I used to shop there at least once a week, I refuse to shop there ever again!

I worked all day doing shipment and definitely didn't feel like cooking or cleaning up.
I figured I'd grab the chicken dinner for 4 on my way home seeing it was on for $20 from $32. What a HUGE mistake!
The chicken was good, but the buns were overcooked so were hard, some of the veggies were burned, the potatoes Wedges (5 Wedges for 4 people??) Were burned to a crisp. I ended up having to make potatoes and vegetables to go with it. So saved no time and definitely wasted my money. In this economy you have to get your monies worth and I didn't get that today. WHY would any employee think to even allow this to be sold??
