If only there was a 0 star option. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this store.
Potential lottery fraud/scammer with the worker-
I went to purchase sport select tickets, and the worker (he might have been the owner, not sure) he scanned the first barcode that was created using the lottery app. The odds changed and the machine printed another barcode slip for him to scan. He scanned the odds change slip and made the official ticket.
IMPORTANT: I saw him put the odds change away under the counter somewhere and I asked for it back BECAUSE he is still able to scan it once I leave to create another ticket for himself with my picks. (I believe he has been doing this in previous transactions with my sport select picks.)
So after I asked for the odds change ticket back, his attitude and behaviour did a 180 flip and all of a sudden he was extremely pissed off at me.
I had a second ticket needing to be scanned and the game cutoff was nearing, roughly 5 minutes left to create ticket. He refused to scan my second barcode and was telling me to pay for the first one. I was reminding him I have a second ticket and the game cutoff was near and he said he didn’t care, he told me to get out of the store and he ripped the first sport select ticket in half right in front of me.
Terrible terrible customer service. I will definitely be escalating this with lottery offices and esso Mobil.
Thankfully I made it to another lottery retailer in time to print my tickets and the worker there had amazing customer service and was extremely kind.
I highly recommend going to Shell gas station by Freshco and again, AVOID interacting with waypoint superstore gas station altogether.
