Just left the Rocky Pet Valu (Saturday, January 10, 2026) after using the dog wash. Water started out tepid, not warm, so I soaked my dog down and shampooed, thinking it would warm up as I ran it. Let the water run for several more minutes and it started getting colder. I searched for an employee who eventually came out of the back and I asked about the water temp. He went to check, came back and told me the person before me must have used all the hot water out of the boiler. Had to rinse my dog in ice cold water. At checkout I was shocked he charged me full price! I asked if he could at least offer a discount for the fact I was forced to use cold water on my poor dog and was denied. Will never frequent this Pet Valu again and I’ve been a regular for 3 years. If 0 stars were an option I would give them 0 stars.

I received outstanding customer service at the Rocky Mountain House Pet Valu today. They allowed me to return an unopened bag of cat food despite the fact that I had purchased it over two months ago. They allowed me to exchange for fair value and gave me a gift card for the difference. That’s how you keep customers coming back! Thank you Pet Valu!

The water kept fluctuating between hot and cold. The thick hoses made it awkward to easily wash your dog. The ends kept falling off the drying hoses. The staff was kind and friendly.

Very impressed with the pet wash area. Took my lab for the first time and he done sowell and it had everything needed to make him clean and dried. The customer service is always helpful and courteous and it’s definitely a great store with a variety of product options.

Previously, the customer service was good. When I was there recently, I thought the cashier was very disconnected and didn't even look up at me from the paper she was looking at to hand me the receipt. I won't be back!
