My partner and I just moved here from the states. We have been to a few different Costco's in the area and this location is by far our favorite. There is a lot of differences between what Costco sells in Canada verses the states. So it's just different. So my rating is for this Costco in general and not Costco as a whole. Costco as a whole in Canada would get 2 stars because they don't accept VISA which is ludicrous. As a business owner, it's silly that Costco out in Canada doesn't accept visa. But to each its own. That's my only complaint as the establishment as a whole. But this location is our favorite! It's always clean and the staff is super friendly. I love getting to see new products that I can't get in the states. But on the flip side I miss some of the products that I used to be able to get. I've tried the poutine and it's a HIT. I love how we can order it separate and not all mixed together. No one wants soggy fries! Their pizza is good just like in the states. Out of the 5 Costco's we have tried, this is our favorite and we will continue to shop here. Thank you to the staff who have always been super friendly and super helpful. You guys rock!

Costco could expand this store, difficult to find parking and in navigating with the oversized carts through the maze of products. We had a great cashier who was super friendly and equally competent in efficiently moving my purchases through the till.Hot dog was pretty good too....can't beat the price.

Tried to return two of the same items - bought on two separate receipts but within a minute of each other. I had brought with me one correct receipt but I mistakenly brought the wrong receipt for the second return. First return happened without issue but when I realized I had the wrong receipt for the second item, I asked if she could please check my membership as I had bought it immediately after running the first transaction through the till (so I had date and time of purchase). She said she was not allowed to do that as it went against their policy. When I was leaving the store, I explained to the lady at the door that I had to return the item to my car (before I could shop) and she said very distinctly "they can return it for you without your receipt". I told her what happened and left. Three weeks later, I can't find the correct receipt. I went back to the same return desk and told a different lady that I couldn't find the receipt and could I please return it. She said no problem. Within two minutes, fully refunded, I left the counter. She did not have to check my membership because as soon as she scanned the item as a return, it came up automatically. Really? All the first lady had to do was direct her scanner at it and it would have been done. While I was shopping after the first attempt to return item, I saw the same return lady again at checkout and I told her that the door lady said items could be returned without receipts. She started apologizing saying they weren't supposed to do it, there were always long lines of people waiting for returns, etc. etc. I just walked away. There had been three people waiting in line behind me. A complete waste of time and money (gas) to return to the store again for something that would have taken her two minutes. Customer service is a hit or miss.

I bought a microwave in Alberta. Unfortunately, it was gonna be delivered to my place and BC before I got home. So I had a delivered in Calgary by the time I got home and opened it. I found the microwave inside was not the same as the outside of the box and they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen if I reordered. So I got a bigger one. More power for the same price at home depot.

Hadn't been in costco in awhile because I have always found the staff rude. Today I came to renew my membership and the lady helping us needed a manager to do something to her computer. That manager East Indian with blond highlights proceeds to scold us for not shopping at Costco and thought we were there to close our account when infact we were renewing. That definitely left the usual bad taste in my mouth. I am a grown up, two adults that make 6 figures a year and have been married for two decades don't need to be treated like children. If it wasn’t for the friendliness of the girl serving us I would have walked right out. If your in management slow down and learn to see what situation your dealing with before you throw words around with an uptight attitude. Also a lady with a turbin just gave us dirty looks the whole time. What kind of customer service is that? A heads up to all the brown people working at costco not all other brown people are from India stop giving them dirty looks! You need to be more professional I am regretting renewing my membership we will see how long it takes before I totally cut out costco once again.

Costco shopping experience used to be fun and positive. Recently, been seeing a lot of policing and screening, that too 3-4 times within a single transaction. This makes the shopping experience terrible. Second thoughts on renewing the membership.

What a world we are living in where we spend our money and being constantly scrutinised and confronted for our identity inside a Costco store multiple times. One @ entrance then on self checkout which is forced not by choice and then on exit. It's humiliating and making you feel offended on every moment being Costco customer. Shame on our governments who allow these Americans to treat Canadians people like criminals. If you can't make your system secure enough that does not give you right to mistreat your customer who gives you business everyday. I don't want to use self checkout but I have no option when few or no manual checkout counters are open. Then you want me to prove my identity to purchase anything. You are stealing Canadian jobs by pushing people to self checkout and then you are the one who suspect your customers may steal at self checkout. What a dirty business is this. Anything that happens in US does not mean it has to be done elsewhere too. Your manager was mean and had a scripted answer which clearly gave me 'who cares' attitude. If it happens once more my membership will end the same day that's my response to you unfair policy.

Normally my experience with Costco and the employees is always positive. This experience was not.Staff were not friendly and were very strict and policed over us.We came in a group of four, one of us had the membership. We wanted to make separate payments on different things we were purchasing because we were splitting the cost among us. Every other time that we have done this at any other Costco, it is fine. This time we were stopped and were told that the person with the membership had to pay. This is really inconvenient as we had to later work out how much money to send on our own. Would have been nice if the employee didn’t police over us. She made assumptions and was extra rude and strict with us because we were younger. Every other Costco is great. This one was not.

One of the nicest costco places I’ve been in. Location is away from the city so traffic isn’t as bad compared to the ones inside the city. The lines are short compared to others as well. Parking is a breeze and never had problems finding a spot.

Too busy for what it is but that's what living in this part of the world is, busy busy busy. On the self check-out the 2 attendants employed to assist with big items like soda and water were scanning silly little items in other customers carts, so we had to put the soda and water on the scales. We had a few items left to scan and the female of the 2 attendants, we'll call her Doris, wandered over and said "you're not supposed to put those things on the scale, I don't even know how the scale's still working," to which I responded "well clearly it is." Doris then, for some ridiculous reason known only to herself, scanned the chicken and sprouts we had in our cart, you know, because their weight would have surely broken the scales of power and might and she didn't offer to help us lift the soda and water off the scales, she just wandered away.

Good place to shop but refunds are so slow. Always lined up and you can stand in line for 30-40 minutes. Have more refund clerks and train them to be faster.

Well stocked and organized Costco. We were there earlier in the morning, so plenty of parking. Most Costco’s you feel like you are going to get run over by a shopping cart, this Costco was enjoyable ;)
