  We had Blueflower Sunrooms install a roof over a beautiful 3 season room in 2023. At first glance the roof looked really good, but we soon realized that the roof we spent over $24,000 for would only last a few years.
  
  The first thing we noticed was a loud banging or popping noises within months of install due to thermal expansion and contraction, especially when the temperature changed. As the acrylic material heated up and cooled down, it would expand and contract, and since it was not properly installed with room for expansion, it was pushing against fasteners or other roof components, creating this noise.
  
  Then, by month three after installation the end pieces fell off at the ends of the overhanging acrylic roof and the acrylic wasn't properly sealed, so bugs crawled up the sheets of acrylic and have died. They are stuck there and are impossible to remove.
  
  The winter came and we discovered that the trusses or roof supports between the acrylic pieces were too far apart to actually support the snow that fell on top of the roof, so all winter we must burn a fire as the acrylic bends from the snow load and starts to leak.
  
  Now here we are 2 years post install and the acrylic pieces are actually sliding off the house and there is leaking directly between the acrylic and cedar siding.
  
  We wish we had known more about this company before we used their services. We will be replacing the roof next summer...if we can get through this 2nd summer post installation. We did mention the issues to the company and every time they came back they only made this worse...crawling on the acrylic and bending it...so we have asked them not to return.

  Had a patio cover replaced because of the hail. Blueflower came out and looked after everything. We had a hiccup with a few things, and there was no problem getting it fixed. Would highly recommend them.

  We got a few quotes for our backyard sunroom from various businesses, and chose to go with blueflower - and we have been extremely happy with our decision. We are in Strathmore, and we're concerned we'd get charged travel times but that wasn't even a suggestion. Our back room is perfect and we have been living outside ever since. The staff were fantastic (even when they had to come out to remove a bat ?), they kept the space as clean as possible (we did have to clean up a bit but that was expected), the work was done quickly, they kept us up to date on progress, and we are extremely happy for the end result. Thank you!!

  I live in Valley Ridge and many of my neighbours had Blue Flower enclose their patio with various sunroom techniques. We saw the results, loved the idea and decided to do the same. It changed our life. We live on this deck during the summer. Enclosing the patio space has created an additional living space that is cost and private. It’s much nicer than having a patio space that is wide open to the elements. Also, with houses being so close together in Calgary, it provides privacy from the neighbours. It’s added value to our house and is one of the best investments we have made. Absolutely no regrets!

  Had a great quality custom installation of windows and screens by Blueflower a few years ago. Called them to help with a motor that was catching and the screen had pulled out of the spline. They came within a couple days, fixed it, recalibrated the remote control, no charge even though we’re outside their usual two year warranty!

  I had Blueflower build me a 3 season sunroom last year, there were various hiccups along the way which were frustrating but all issues except something minor (maybe not important) were addressed. The addition to our home is very nice, nice to be out of the wind, nice on a starry night, nice on a rainy day, nicely ventilated with lots of sliding windows with screens on hot days. Nice to be outside without the wind or bugs.

  Only good things can be said for Doug and his team at Blueflower Sunrooms, from the first quote to the finish, there was great communication, professionalism, precise workmanship and timing to build our screened sunroom over our deck this June. The custom made sunroom fits our deck like a glove and blends in with our house, deck and surrounding yard. 10 out of 10 for Blueflower.Leon and Cheryl L.

  It was our good fortune to find Blue Flower Sunrooms and engage them to build our new sunroom. These guys are good. They don’t cut corners and the workmanship is impeccable. Doug and his team helped us design the project, secure all necessary permits, and do the build. We greatly appreciated their willingness to change the plan and allow it to evolve…to put it another way, we waffled a bit on what we wanted and Blueflower took it in stride. Finally, Doug and all of his crew were a pleasure to work with. It’s a real bonus when business can be conducted in a pleasant and friendly manner.   Custom sunroom project was quoted and from the reviews I thought we would be in good hands. I was wrong. From continual basic construction errors (untreated wood framing on cement pad, piles of saw dust, screws and metal shavings on the lawn, leaking eaves troughs, poor painting) unacceptable delays and excuses, failing to show, and the final straw, workers using my back yard as a toilet. I finally had enough and had another contractor finish the project. Had I not been available to monitor and point out errors I believe I would have a cannot sit by and let another unsuspecting customer be taken in. If you want to manage your project yourself and be constantly chasing for work to be completed in a timely manner then Blue Flower is for you.

  We contacted Blueflower Sunrooms to do work on our screen room. We dealt directly with Doug Mitchell at Blueflower Sunrooms. The quality of their product, their workmanship and especially Doug's superb customer service, was amazing. We have had many family members, friends and other people comment on our screen room and ask us who did the work. So, we of course told them about Doug at Blueflower Sunrooms.

  We had been looking for a solution all summer to have a roof installed over our odd sized deck when we stumbled across Blueflower in September. We are very happy with the roof that was installed as well as changing our deck to a vinyl covering and a composite deck. Great company.
