Very poor service. Waste of space, might as well remove the branch. Monday morning, there is only one person in the branch. A simple transfer of money to US. She say I will do it if you book an appointment.

Absolutely useless. I told the last at the front I couldn't transfer money to my cc because it takes a couple days and I need the $ tomorrow for a business purchase. She told me it was cash only, I went to my bank to grab cash and then she made me use an atm... WHICH STILL HOLDS MY MONEY. She didn't tell me that until I put the $ in. CIBC is an absolutely useless bank with horrible policies. This is why my wife and I use 4 other banks for our business and personal account and have never even considered CIBC. I highly recommend avoiding CIBC altogether and just going elsewhere. I'll definitely just be paying the card off and closing the account.

Had to call 3x and go in 3x to activate mastercard. The Walmart greeter at the desk assured me I must sit for an hour while he waits on hold to activate it. Fascinating species. Sometimes I wonder how these people get dressed by themselves in the morning. Beyond incompetence. Also, the card still isn't activated. I've now spend 3h on hold and 3 trips to their branches for multiple people to screw up a task so simple that a monkey could be trained to do it. What a time to be alive, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

I visited the branch today, extremely unproductive people, not aware of immigration forms that CIBC offer. There is one person in line and this lady asked me to visit tomorrow and there is one hour for closing. So , they are processing one person for one hour and total 8 a day?

Had a meeting booked for 7:30 this morning. When I got there, there was a sign on the door that said they changed their hours and didn't open until 9:30 now. Not sure how I'm supposed to have a meeting at 7:30 when they aren't even open yet...
