I am absolutely disgusted with the waste and lack of respect for the environment this company has. I have been to this location's garbage bin numerous times only to have found perfectly good food just tossed away. Sure food has a shelf life date making it reasonable to remove from the shelves. What is absolutely unacceptable is that instead of this packaged perfectly fine food is just tossed into the dumpster instead of going to the food bank or the homeless. Hell, leave it outside the dumpster so hungry people can find it with ease. To just toss it away and not think of the cold and hungry humans living out in the elements. You should be ashamed and embarrassed. On top if this waste of food, there has been recyclables discarded instead of emptied and recycled. The lack of respect for our planet is disappointing and unacceptable. I will not be shopping at Dollar Tree anymore but I will be taking the dumpster food to the humans that really need it until you fix this inhuman problem. If you care about our planet or other humans I suggest you try a different dollar store, a more environmentally friendly one. You should be embarrassed Sherwood Park. Of all places in and around Edmonton you guys are suppose to be the most pristine... take your noses out of the air cause this is a huge problem for our hungry humans you turn a blind eye to and out planet. Oh but you are too wealthy to care about any of that. What a disgrace. Also, cardboard goes in the cardboard bin, not the garbage bin. It's not new news. Figure it out stop being part of the problem and start being a solution. Shame on you.

Fantastic location with great staff and deals. I'm a bit confused about the fact that it's 2024 and businesses know their customers check. Google for store hours but Dollar Tree seems unwilling to update their holiday hours. Very annoying to see that a store is open only to find them closed upon arrival. At least Dollarama updates their holiday hours consistently.

This is such a great little dollar tree, they have a nice selection of crafts, cards, kitchenware, food and bath products, toys and every knick knack in between. You can always find good seasonal items while sticking to your budget. I love that you can get helium balloons here as well! They're easy to purchase and they will fill them on the spot. I find the dollar tree a little bit cheaper than the Dollarama so also a perk of going here is saving a few extra dollars. I know they have different items as well and the staff have always been friendly and ready to help you find what you need. I love coming here for crafting ideas, wrapping paper cards and now wedding items! It's never super busy so you can get what you need without having to wait in a long line!

Went to this store today, and they have signs all over the place saying “debit/credit only”!! Last I checked cash was still an acceptable form of payment, and I will be the one deciding how I pay. Won’t be going back, which is disappointing because they have some good stuff IF you can make your way through the crammed isles.

I love dollar tree. It is probably one of the places that I spend most of my extra income at because I love it so much, but the experience I just had was nothing short of disappointing. I just now came out of this store with my boyfriend. We went to the till and the cashier there was someone probably in his late teens, early twenties. He sounds like he smokes a pack a day. This man is not fit to be a cashier. He would ONLY regard my boyfriend. I would say hi, ignored. He said hi to my boyfriend though and asked him how his day is going. I'm standing at the front, clearly the one paying and he looks to my boyfriend "cash or card" and I respond debit. He rolls his eyes and does the thing. Then after I PAY he looks to my boyfriend and asks if he wants the receipt. Yes I WANT the receipt. You have someone working here who clearly believes women are lesser beings, and it makes me never want to shop here. Don't bother shopping here, you'll feel disrespected.

The employee Hope was absolutely wonderful, super helpful, and brought a smile to my face. 100% made my shopping experience better.

The lady with long black hair (the manager I think) was quite rude. Not going to go back to this location because of the customer service.

Best place for all the crafts and balloons for cheap. There’s one gentleman who works at nights always assisting and never fails to make the guests smile. Place could definitely use a lot of cleaning or organizing

Young lady at the cashier was wonderful and so kind ! Lady with the long black curly hair on the other hand not so much .. was talking to another co worker talking about something to do with some are bad and some are good and some you wanna reach over and strangle them .. I’m assuming she was referring to the customers .. when I went to the front to let another worker know and report what I heard she said that the curly black hair was the manager … not sure if I’d want someone like that running my store. store was quit messing and products hanging off the shelves … no one’s gonna disagree with a manager but I’d look into a better one who can manage the store properly and not talk rudely and gossip about customers in the back corner….. from reading other reviews I’m thinking it’s time for a much better and polite manager.

Went to this store today for buying some sticker activity books for children. I asked one of the staff at the counter if they have more in stock. And he told me kindly that the manager probably can check it. So I was waiting to see the manager and asked her, "Can you check if you have more of these books in stock?" She has black hair and is wearing glasses. "No, I don't." She answered in a split second. Being slightly embarrassed by her rude manner, I asked her again, "Is there no way to check it out?" Then again she said, "No" right away. So I walked away and went to another Dollar Tree in the Capilano area and asked the manager there the same request. He just simply scanned the barcode on the book and brought more in stock for me. It was just that simple work, but the manager here did nothing and even lied to me. Generally speaking, I love Dollar Tree, but her poor, rude, terrible customer service is inappropriate as the position of the manager there.

Worst customer service ever!! 2 employees in the office with the door closed chatting it up about heaven knows what but didn't sound like work and one cashier working as slow as molasses on a cold Winter day And 17 customers in line. The people in the office didn't give a rip. It's too bad because they have excellent selection and prices But the 2 chatting in the office should be fired and the cashier boy should get some pet Vin instead
