This is our favourite hardware store in Sherwood Park. Renovating an entire house has left us very familiar with hardware store. The staff are always very helpful with whichever project we have moved onto (especially Samil who has helped us on several occasions). The store has a wide selection of products for very reasonable prices. We are very happy with all the products and services from Lowe's (Rona+) Emerald Drive.

I can't believe a failing business like Rona (In my view) has bought out Lowes. They both suck and are disorganized. Clearly the managers and owners have not shopped at Home Depot before. Home Depot is organized, but does not have everything. Online on Home Depot, you can search for any item, and it will tell you the isle and which bay it's in. Online Rona and Lowes and in there stores. There are no isle numbers with bay numbers down each isle and online there is no isle numbers where you can find the item and in which bay on the isle. Asking someone in the store is always a hassle. They either say they do not work in that department and let's go to the front and find someone who knows where that items at. Then your waiting while they are discussing with one another on who knows where this items at. By this time your so annoyed from walking back and forth and having the employees figure out where this item is that your ready to leave already. Amazon is my best bet until these stores get there head out of there you know what and get organized like Home Depot. Until then Amazon and Home Depot are my #1 go to. I hope the owner or manager sees this and makes this happen in all of there stores ASAP.

Apparently Lowe's doesn't price match Lowe's. The manager was not helpful. We saw something on sale and went to the store to get it and they will not price match their own prices? Wild. ? They didn't even have the item in their system but had one on their shelf. I won't be returning due to sheer incompetence.

Went in with my father to get new countertops for his kitchen picked the counter he liked paid got new counters installed about 3 weeks later the 1 man crew came out he brought the wrong counter not the one we had ordered me and my father had to help him even after telling him wasn't the material we had ordered a couple days later I called lows sherwoodpark was told to call swift countertops to set up a new date to come have look see what was wrong it's been 5 months still no repairs have called and went to lows various time with no resolutionsMy advise is stay away from lows and swift counter tops there both crooks and very dishonest company's

I needed to get a new handle for my screen door that had broke. The Lowe’s in Sherwood Park had a huge selection. As soon as I approached the isle Ray asked if I needed any help. I showed him my broken handle and he knew immediately what brand it was and helped me find the replacement parts. Thank you Ray! I am beyond grateful for Ray’s help, he is so knowledgeable and was just the kindest person.

Was looking around for a BBQ hose. I went around trying to find someone. Took a while but when I did, they told me they don't carry them. Low rating for taking so long in an empty store to get help.

Had everything I needed for most part. The prices were very reasonable and competitive. The staff inside were great to deal with.However, every single time I go here there is never anyone in the garden centre to help us.Either we have to walk back in the store and hope to flag someone down or wait in line at checkout to get someone to come help us.Last off we gave up chasing our tails wasting time we didnt want to waste and called the store and asked them to send someone down to help us.Moral of review is the interior of store the staff are great. In the garden centre.... what staff lol

My recent visit to Lowe's left me with mixed feelings. While the store was well-organized and maintained, the lack of selection and abysmal customer service overshadowed the positives.One of my main reasons for visiting Lowe's was to find a new shower head. However, I was disappointed to discover that the selection was severely limited, and I couldn't find what I was looking for. It was frustrating to come to a home improvement store with high expectations, only to have to resort to visiting a competitor to fulfill my needs.On the bright side, I must commend Lowe's for the cleanliness and organization of their store. The aisles were neat, and it was easy to navigate through the various sections. The overall presentation of the store created a pleasant shopping environment.Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the customer service at Lowe's. I struggled to find assistance when I needed it the most. Despite the store being well-staffed, there seemed to be a lack of associates available to help customers. Even when I attempted to seek help at the front of the store, a group of associates and presumed managers walked past me without offering any assistance. It was disheartening to feel ignored and overlooked as a customer.The incident with the associates passing by without acknowledging my presence was the breaking point for me. I was frustrated with the overall experience, so I decided to move on without reaching out to any of them. It's disappointing when the staff seems more focused on their own tasks than providing adequate customer service.In conclusion, Lowe's falls short in two significant areas: limited product selection and disappointing customer service. While the store is well-maintained and organized, the lack of options for specific items can be frustrating. Additionally, the inability to find assistance and the disinterested behavior of the staff left me with a negative impression. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall shopping experience at Lowe's.

Never fails to "disappoint", seriously I really want to love this store it's literally 2 minutes from my house. Aside from usually having nothing I need in stock when I need it that their orange competitor usually does (for 10%less than what Lowes would want). Today was really annoying. Its one week before the biggest plant buying day in Canada and due to the unusual hot weather people have buying up a lot of plants early so my usual haunts are out of stock. I figure I'll swing by, why not, it's close to home after all (my first mistake). The gate to the garden centre is closed, they have some awesome flowers right outside but I'd have to carry them all the way in? FORGET IT! So I go in, just to get a few basket stuffers, because I have a mobility issue I'm thinking out loud that "I wished the garden centre til was open" and a staff says "unfortunately it's not open" to which I then replied "well it should be" he then rudely replied "well we don't have the staff". Honestly no wonder Lowes couldn't make it in Canada! they didn't even have a single person on the main checkouts! Self check out was the only option! What is this place 7-11? Sure hope it's better once it's converted to Rona but I'm not holding my breath. What a shame.

If I could put a zero for Sherwood park Ab flooring installation I would. We had carpet installed incorrectly in our basement they told us to remove our Vapor barrier and installed what was essentially a sponge so any moisture ( which naturally forms with basements and concrete came up and caused mold issues. We contacted the store and had someone come out and look who told us we had a moisture problem and did not agree to put a vapour barrier down. I then did not feel this was correct so I called 3 other flooring installs in Sherwood park and all of them recommended a moisture barrier for a basement .. one even felt bad that lowes did it incorrectly and offered to do it. After this I then went in took pictures of the mold and spoke to Sherwood park store manager . He said they will do something to help us out with the issues ….. after coming in twice after the issue and contacting the instal department 3 times with no response …. months later we decided to do it ourselves as with the mold we had to do something right away. Three months later no moisture issues or mold. Very very disappointed with the managers and workers at this location as they did absolutely nothing to help.
