Got my winter tires through them this year, first time going to Midas but I'll be checking them out from now on. They had a great sale on at the time so I got a great price, front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The wye road location allows for you to be in walking distance of some stuff to do while you wait for the work to be done, the only draw back I'd say about this location is their waiting room area is very small.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly very helpful.The price was very good...better then most place for sure.The worst part was when I left there was smoke coming out of my hood when i got on the highway.The young kid who did my oil change spilled oil all over my engine.I went back they cleaned it up and I was fairly compensated for my inconvenience.Honestly I will be going back again

Great experience at Midas in Wye road Sherwood park. Melvin helped us out and he was awesome. Really happy with the customer service provided. Would highly recommend Melvin and Wye Road Midas to all my friends and family.

Just have to say that Melvin and all the guys in the shop at the Sherwood Park location were super fantastic. They were super friendly and accommodating. After getting a tire repair done at Kal Tire a week ago the plug started to come out when I called Kal Tire they would not fit me in to repair it. Called Midas and not only did they squeeze me in right away they also noticed something wrong with my valve stem and showed me. They fixed that right away as well. I can not say enough great things about this location. Will definitely recommendService: Tires

Moira is amazing along with all of the staff that helped me! I have never been treated as good anywhere else . Moira went above and beyond getting me everything I needed to repair my car. She Is efficient and kind she leads her team by example of how people should be treated in the customer service industry . Very scammy place. The younger mechanic who looked at my car let me know he wasn’t going to do an alignment unless I bought new tire rods (they were brand new, 1 week old tire rods). I took my car to fountain tire and they said the tire rods were fine… and they gave me an alignment.Service: Wheel alignment

World class customer service at Wye Rd, Sherwood Park location. Moira at front desk is knowledgeable and so efficient. My appointment was on time and my car was returned in excellently condition. They also have what I consider to be the best value for the work I had done. I would highly recommend Midas and this location .Services: Tire rotations

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO MIDAS SHERWOOD PARK. The worst customer service and mechanics I have ever experienced. I have a 2016 Honda civic and needed to take it in to get my brakes replaced. I took it in at 10:00 and the first red flag was that they messed up my appointment and had it for the following day, although my confirmation said for that day. On the appointment booking it said it’ll be until 12:00. We waited all day until 3:45 for a call and still had not received one. We called at 3:45 and asked if the car was done to which the manager said that they were just putting our tire on and we can come pick it up as they were closing at 4:00. Their normal closing hours are 6:00 and we were never told of this new closing time. The communication was awful up until this point. We arrived at 4:00 and waited 40 minutes as they said they were trying to calibrate my car. She then told me to pay while we were waiting. She handed me the machine without giving me a break down of the costs on the receipt. To which we realized later on that they charged us an extra $50 for shop supplies. They then told me that I would have to come back on Friday for them to try and recalibrate my car as there was a bunch of pop up messages coming up on my dash. She told us to come in at anytime on Friday. We called at 10:00 Friday to say we were coming to drop it off and she tried to get me to make an appointment for 1 or 2. We said no as we weren’t expecting to have our car gone that day and had plans which required our car. We brought it in at 11:00 and for the second time we did not get a call and it was again 3:00. We called and asked what was going on to which they said that they were still trying to calibrate my car and the manager started to blame it on me because I had apparently waited to long to bring my car in to fix my brakes. She had no clue what she was talking about as that had nothing to do with the calibration of my car. They then finally called us at 5:00 saying they couldn’t figure out why my car wasn’t calibrating (keep in mind it’s a Honda civic…) and that they think it’s because of a broken cable under my car. When we arrived they tried to show us the broken cable and they were trying to charge us $150 for labour and $40 for the part. We also questioned them why they had charged us $50 for shop supplies and they could not give us an answer. The head of all of the western Midas shops also happened to be in that day and he was unwilling to help us and only offered us a free oil change. I tried explaining to him how this whole experience had been quite a nightmare to which he said “well sweetheart if this is what you consider a nightmare I’m not sure what to tell you”. I find this extremely unprofessional of a person that works high up in a company. I do not feel like I should have been talked down to like that.We then decided to take it to another mechanic after buying the supposed part we needed to fix the problem. The mechanic called us back saying that it was simply a steering wheel calibration that needed to be done and should have been an easy fix by any mechanic. We didn’t even need the new cable as it had nothing to do with the problem. So I paid an extra $130 for some thing that should have been completed on the first day I brought it in and of no charge. The mechanics at Midas are not properly trained and seem to be incompetent as they couldn’t even properly calibrate my Honda civic after a straight forward brake repair. The manager and corporate Midas guy was extremely unprofessional and offered no help or support on the matter what so ever. I will never bring my car into Midas ever again and will continue to tell people to boycott the company all together. Please do your research before taking your car anywhere and as a woman please protect yourself as they always try to up-sell on fixing things in your car you don’t need. All they see is a young woman and try to take advantage of that.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I brought my vehicle in for A/C diagnostics and was told that my A/C did not need to be re-charged and it was likely the HVAC blower motor that needed to be replaced and quoted me roughly $1,000 for parts and labour. I declined the service and said I would just pick up my car instead. Upon picking it up I noticed that when I turned on my A/C and it sounded WAY louder and the flow of air was way lower than before, specially coming from the right side of the car where my cabin air filter is. I went back in and brought up this concern, the technician came out and took a look inside, completely gaslit me and told me it was because my cabin air filter was really dirty.Today, I took it to another shop where I found out that whoever was previously in there bent my cabin filter door plate and left out 4 of the 5 screws. They explained that this is why I am hearing a loud noise and why very little air flow is coming through the vents because the door isn’t able to close properly to create the proper pressure.Long story short, if you bring your car here for diagnostics it is likely they will quote you for something that isn’t even wrong and break components on your car in the meantime AND completely gaslight you when you bring concerns with their work to their attention. VERY very disappointed, do not and will not EVER recommend bringing your car here.

Staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Explained and showed me the issue with my old tires and offered quick and easy solutions. Mechanics inside were fast and got the job done perfectly. Will be going back for all future car needs. 10/10 will recommended to friendsService: Tires

I can not say how amazing the individuals there are! We came from out of town and were just driving in with a flat. They took us in right away and fixed the tire with such friendly voices and faces! Moira even tipped us on to the taste of Edmonton! Really such great service!!!
