About Super 8 by Wyndham Slave Lake AB
Super 8 by Wyndham Slave Lake AB offers a mix of experiences for its guests. The check-in process is generally easy and convenient, helping to ensure a smooth start to stays. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, featuring quality mattresses and linens. However, some guests have noted issues, such as the cold temperature throughout the hotel and noise from work crews starting early in the morning.
The hotel staff is consistently praised for being friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. The housekeeping team receives special recognition for their diligent work in maintaining cleanliness and providing ample toiletries. The continental breakfast is seen as acceptable, though not exceptional, and guests have expressed disappointment with the closure of the pool. Some have also mentioned minor inconveniences, such as the need to switch rooms due to door issues and the poor quality of tissues provided.
Overall, Super 8 by Wyndham Slave Lake AB is a decent choice for travelers, especially those seeking affordable accommodations in the area, despite some areas for improvement.
The staff were great. I never missed one free homemade cookie from the lovely lady from Africa.
