Waited 20 minutes while staff were gabbing away at their collective desks. St down with an individual, not sure his name, who tried to convince me I was over paying my plan. Tried selling me a new package deal with a phone that would be twice my current bill. He kept showing me his computer numbers saying I am overpaying even after showing him my actual bill was half that.
Just sales people looking for their buck. Avoid and deal with an official operator through 611 or online.
Stay away from this place

Jordan, your a life saver. Can't say enough good things. I found myself in a bind when my data plan ran out as I was getting ready to hop on a zoom call.
It could have been bad news but with a few clicks the changes were made and best of all my it didn't break the bank.
If your looking to make your getting the best value or just looking to upgrade, Jordan is the won to ask for.

The girl that works here is pretty unprofessional. When I said I needed to call Telus she said to go outside because it was not allowed in the store?! Your store name has TELUS in it. I can’t call Telus in the store? Very unhelpful and would not recommend.

Went in to exchange a phone I purchased for my teenage daughter because the phone doesn't work properly, freezes all the time, it's an unrealiable device. There is a mark on the side (its been in the case since day one unsure how unless it came that way, my daughter took it out of the box and put it in the case) they wouldn't exchange. I reset the device right in the store before I was told they wouldn't do the exchange. I was told they wouldn't allow me to transfer the stuff from the phone after the new phone was given. I pay for them to do it though... Of course I was a bit frustrated and that I'll apologize for but I purchased a new phone and its garbage. My options were to buy it out right... Or warranty... For the same garbage. No thanks. Telus would have rectified the issue if I purchased it online... As a dealer purchase telus doesn't own the phone. Don't buy from dealers!

Rude staff that seems in a hurry to get you out. Went on Monday evening, won’t go back. She laughed when my daughter was surprised that the case was 40$ and said she didn’t know how expensive cases were and the girl said “do you know how much the one you wanted is?!” Got one because she started ringing it in before we were even done deciding!

Was in there to look for a case. The girl started ringing it in while I was still deciding and insisted I wanted a glass protector and not the one I actually wanted. It’s too small for the screen and I hate it but felt like I couldn’t say no. Terrible service. She acted like I was stupid for wanting anything other than glass.

Good place to go to get a new phone, I was very impressed with the staff member that went out of her way to help us today, she took the time were most would not have. I have always liked this Telus store. Just wanted to say thank you for going over and above it was very much appreciated.

*Edited upon business owners comments*
I lost my phone at work and needed a replacement on short notice. They were able to give me a loaner for a deposit fee which was fully returned and when I wasn't able to find the lost phone, they were able to sell me what I was looking for. From a pure transaction perspective they were great.
Ultimately I was given a loaner phone for $210 which was refunded upon return. I was charged $36.75 for the SIM card activation which I was never charged for on prior phone purchases from Koodo, Shaw or Telus.
I purchased a Pixel 6 from them which retails for $779 + tax from Best Buy and directly from Google for $779 + tax. The final cost for my phone purchase for me was $900 + GST + $50 for their in store fee resulting in around $997 for the phone. The business owner reached out to me pointing out the Google price wasn't comparable but it was from multiple local businesses.
My personal opinion would be to avoid this business in the future. The service was decent and they didn't try to up sell me on things I didn't need but the also charged me around $150 more on MRSP which I was forced to pay due to immediate need. You are better serviced by contacting TELUS online and going through their online process unless you simply can't wait. If you are simply purchasing a new phone out of contract, you have lots of viable and much cheaper options.
