I went into buy my daughter a fish and both staff argued with me and refused to sell us anything even though we had a tank set up at home and kept refusing , in front of my young girls I even showed them a photo of my cycled tank, we’re going to shop elsewhere. I want to contact head office. What an embarrassment. I have never been refused to buy a tank and fish. Ignorant disgusting staff

They cancelled my dogs haircut 5min before. Obviously I walked in at that certain time, because who looks at their emails while they’re driving.
Tried to talk to a manager to try and get my rescheduled, but they just forced me to call in again. And set another appointment again, but she didn’t help me at all. Just took my name and number and couldn’t give me a time I could bring my dog in.
Useless staff, and unprofessionalism all round. Lost my business.

This was my first visit bringing my cat here for grooming. However, when I got home, I found that one of his nails had been cut and was bleeding. I was not informed about this at all.

This is where I get my fish and fish supply’s, the are great. BUT, the workers don’t seem to enjoy their jobs very much and they can be quite entitled when talking about something you’re buying.

Very weird and disappointing experience.The fish guy asks more questions about what you have going on for your tank than necessary. But, fine, you're passionate about fish. Did all the things, set up the tank and he literally won't sell people fish unless they feed their tank for 3-6 weeks or buy an old filter off market place. Went to another store in the Edmonton area that sell a large variety of just fish, they said what we've done is fine for a Beta fish as a 5 gallon tank is plenty big enough (he said he wouldn't put any fish in anything that small). So PetSmart lost our money and I'm sure countless other customers.
Only 3 star because we've bought dog toys and other stuff there and it's been fine. Wouldn't recommend them for fish though, they don't want to sell them.

We went in today to buy our 6 year old grandson a hamster and had the worst experience, Alisha was very very rude. When we asked if she could help us look at the hamsters she told us she didn’t have time for that today. We couldn’t believe it. When we questioned her about it she tried backtracking and say oh were you wanting to buy one? People always just want to look and I don’t have time for that. Still very rude
Her attitude was so awful we left there empty handed with a very sad little boy

I am very very displeased with how we were treated today at per smart. My son has been wanting a hamster and we’ve been waiting as we don’t have a pet store in our town. So we came 1.5 hours to see what this store had for hamsters. We asked the lady if she could show us the hamsters as they were hiding. She looked at us and very rudely (extremely rude and it was our first time talking to her) “I don’t have time for that right now!” And kept doing what she was doing with fish. My son stood there crushed. We then were taken back and a little stunned at how terrible she said it, and we said that we wanted to buy my son one and wanted to see what they looked like so he could choose. And she kept arguing with us on how people just come to look at them, and the whole interaction was ridiculous, the way she spoke to customers is not right. All we asked was to see the animals we wanted to purchase. Her name was Alicia and it was around 4pm (in case a boss sees this and wants to know who) we tried waiting for another worker or manager but couldn’t see anyone to talk to. So we left empty handed with a heart broken little boy.

Really weird experience here. They ask more questions about the environment you have for your fish than the environment we have for humans. Im like hey ask your politicians what they are spraying in our sky that's landing on our ground and into our water. See if our environment is fit for us.

Very disappointed with their save 10$ and get 5000 points...
I spent my 50 bucks as it said, and asked the lady at the till if I would get my 5000 points she says yes.
Look at my receipt and it's not there. I go back in to ask about this and they proceed to tell me I had to activate the code to get the points and savings... very annoyed as I asked the lady at the till before my purchase.

Came from Edmonton to adopt a puppy. When I went to till to buy a few new puppy things the lady at the till was sure that I receive a coupon book for new puppies for free but she was not sure how to do it so she asked for help(which is all good and understandable). The lady that came to help though said I only get one for free if I adopt a cat NOT a dog, which is a weird rule as no matter what you just spent alot adopting an animal. So I was offered to buy the coupon book for 20 bucks instead. I did. However coming home I see that the coupons are for new puppies. So this would not make sense to get for free for only adopting a kitty. Has nothing to do for cats.
