Usually a great shopping experience. Last Sunday January 11th. All meat I looked was expired the next day. The smokies I bought again on sale were expired on January 9th. My mistake for not checking, but do the employees not check these daily. Very disapointing as this used to be a very high quality store. I live in Stony Plain and drive to this store as the Safeway in Stony is also very disapointing.

All products I was looking for is here now, the renovation is way better and selection is fantastic.
Only downside is the products are all very much smaller quantity and price is much higher compared to last year; however seem to be comparable to other retailers.
Staff as usual are fast, friendly and knowledgeable.

Well, what can I say about Safeway? They're an old store. They've been around a long time. A lot of their stuff is quality, but I just can't afford to shop there. Their prices are too high.

Safeway great place to pick up groceries, always have a good selection, fruit and vegetables are fresh, nice clean store, they have a pharmacy and bakery, prices are a little higher than some other stores but the quality of the food is always very good. Staff are always willing to help very nice store.

Husband went to purchase buns that were still warm. Usually the girls at the bakery just leave the bag open so they can cool. Today the clerk refused to leave the bag open and sell them even when my husband told her it was okay to leave the bag open. Not sure why this had to be an issue. Husband was going to pick up a few other things but decided due to her lack of service he would go elsewhere to shop.

Katrina did an amazing job at helping me look for Bailey’s Creamer! They did not carry it but she was very friendly and helpful. Even checked the back for me. Thank you Katrina!

selection and food good. prices alright, however if you want baked goods come here. as good as an ma and pa bakery shop. easily take the place of timmys, even when tims was good

Customer service is a thing of the past. Tried to purchase dessert already made in one of the bakery cabinets. No one in the bakery. Got sent to 3 different areas to ask for assistance only to be told the bakery staff went home and no one else is allowed to go back there. It's not even 7pm, are you kidding me? All anyone had to do was put a lid on the item and charge me the price on the price tag in front of the dessert. I could have done it myself. Very poor customer service.
