This has been our main bank for over 30yrs. I love that when I visit, I am greeted by name by the very friendly tellers. I also very much appreciate Rima—she has been over & above helpful with our family consistently over the years. She is efficient & ensures our needs are dealt with quickly.

Erin at Mission Hill BMO was a great help! She was welcoming and knowledgeable and was able to help us setup the best savings account for our purposes. She was also helpful in her correspondences when we contacted her for another urgent banking matter.

I have been a customer at the BMO St. Albert Mission Hill Branch for over 40 years. Every visit at least once per month over that period of time has been very positive. Staff are very friendly, courteous and professional, I cannot recall one negative experience. I can however recall a recent very positive experience that in my humble opinion goes above and beyond exceptional service. I had made a huge error with recent electronic payments from my account that amounted to over $1000. I nervously approached the bank tellers area fearing that my error would result in a lengthy delay in redirecting the funds to the proper accounts. I was very pleased when Jannik(the Bank Teller) reassured me that he could resolve the issue in a fairly short period of time. He also took the time to update my electronic accounts to ensure proper payment in the future. Jannik advised he would follow the reversal of payment to my account which occurred today within less than a week much to my relief given my excellent credit rating. Thank you Jannik for your friendly, courteous and professional service above and beyond. You are a valuable asset to the BMO !!!

Terrible branch. Former twenty five year customer here. This BMO Branch could or would not solve numerous mistakes that BMO made. I dealt with 4 of this BMO Branches banking specialist. I was even ponded me off to another BMO Branch.
Last account out of the five accounts I removed from this BMO Branch or closed they receive a cheque for a pay out did not cash it. For the next two weeks BMO collections department harassed me for the money that this branch already had signed off as received.
After reading the BMO branch responds:
I’m sure you know who I am so you already have my contact information. Your branch had around 2 years to fix BMO mistakes before I took my business else were . I had many emails and phone calls not responded to over this two year period. I will never deal with BMO again. I only came to this branch in around 25 years ago to deal with N.S. and since she retired the service has been terrible.
If your not from this BMO Branch but are from BMO Head office I have already mailed a letter through Canada Post to your Head Office with all my accounts attached asking to be contacted and this was not responded to as well.

Originally left a 5 star but I have to change it to a 1 star. The last few times I've tried going in to the bank to do anything, there is almost no customer service and it feels like the bank intentionally makes it difficult to get anything done. It's just been such a frustrating experience lately that I changed banks because if it. I don't recommend this bank.

I found Nadia the assistant Manger to be very helpful and went beyond her duty to help solve my issues and in a timely manner as well I would definitely recommend this bank.

I see, others are having similar issues... Two stars and I'm being VERY generous.The lines are long, the waiting time is BAD.The staff needs a LOT more training. Where do they hire these people from?

A 1 star is being generous for this place. Nothing but mistake after mistake. Even after they say the problem has been resolved it really isn't and you have to go through the same thing again and again. I've already cut all ties with BMO and as soon as my mortgage is up for renewal I'll be going elsewhere. I've never seen a place with such incompetent staff.

I lost $3000 last May 2023 out of my account with BMO Mission Hill. It was fradulantly taken from our account by using the number on my debit card. This bank did nothing to assist us…..,,said how unfortunate it was for us and they are so sorry. They should (maybe have … but never enacted for us, insurance to cover this. We are just sol! Very disappointed (and out of $$$$)******Need more tellers also as there are usually long lines (with 2 tellers only working!)Not happy customers right now!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been waiting in line for 30 minutes now waiting for A ROLL OF TWONIES. Lots of people behind the glass doors trying to take more money in but bank tellers must have very high salaries if a bank making $millions in profit can't manage a third teller to deal with the queue going out the door on a weekday afternoon. Pathetic.
