The mechanic department of this store is totally a scam. My son paid 1300 for nothing. His car was not fixed at all.This is totally unacceptable.How can you guys serve customers with those kind of system? You guys should be fixing the problem and helping customers not robbing our hard earned money.

I got a puncher in my car. I went there at Canadian tire. they told it will take more than 2/3hrs. After 3 hrs he called me and didn’t do any work. That old told me on call that my car’s all tire are not good and safe for drive.I bought the tires 8months ago and it’s in good condition. I told him can you please change it with Stepney wheel than one person check tire and he said that’s different companies tire it will not gonna work.
Then I asked him what will I have to do with that he is selling me his tires. HE IS JUST TRYING TO SELL ME HIS TIRE.
In last he told me for your safety company will do change. OLD TIRES and he filled air and he leaves my car where i drive more than 30km.

Service manager was rude when asked why he would not pay me the core for my batteries... he insisted all Canadian tire locations need the original receipt I informed him it's on the computer when the battery was purchased and the core was still a credit as I was only now returning it... I was forced to go to another Canadian tire to have the core returned to me.... terrible service from this service manager with a swollen head.. " it's independently owned and we don't care" was his words as I was walking out of the store saying he did not know Canadian tire policy

Brought in a product to be refunded because of a recall, the cashier made me feel like I was doing something wrong because she didn't know what to do, she even said that she didn't know what to do. She brought up the recall issue with the manager on duty and they didn't know the proper procedure either and told me that I needed a receipt. Neither of them consulted the recall product binder that I know every store has and I had to take it elsewhere, which inconvenienced me but not before they tried to make me look foolish in front of the people waiting in line behind me. UNACCEPTABLE!! For Shame!

Ken from the service dept. is incredible. Told him I was on a timeline to get back to B.C. he went far above and beyond to get us the specialty tires we needed and got us in to get them on. An error occured and again was incredible in dealing with the issue. Amazing customer service. Thank you.

Bought steel toe boots 4 months ago altra brand worst boots i ever bought sole coming off both boots laces broke and now stitches in the back opened up don't have my receipt doubt they will exchange or refund not canadian tires fault just trying to warm everyone dont buy altra boots spend a bit extra and get good ones

The one fellow tried and tried to up sell me on tires. Would not listen, talked to me like I knew nothing adout rubber. Left before they did any work, glad I did. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I book an appointment. They say come in at ten tomorrow. Great. I show up at ten. "We're just waiting for the parts". Sorry what? You booked me an appointment, and now part of my wait is for you to get your parts? Totally unacceptable. So now my work isn't getting started on time and I have to sit here, and my whole day is delayed. Unacceptable.
