New staff (tall skinny gentleman and girl with glasses and long dark hair) seem friendly but I was in the store for a whole TWENTY minutes and I wasn’t greeted! I talked to another customer and she said she also wasn’t greeted. The two employees were just chitchatting away without acknowledging anyone or anything aside from themselves. It wasn’t until I was leaving that I was actually noticed. BTW- don’t get pierced at Claire’s, no matter the location. Their piercing equipment is cheap, and as someone who used to work at this location, I’ve heard almost entirely complaints. My own ears (no discredit to my piercer), never healed, because the posts on the back of the earrings weren’t long enough and my skin kept on healing over them. Don’t be tempted to get pierced at any Claire’s just because they’re affordable and offer you bundle deals. Do what any sane individual would do and go to a tattoo shop or another experienced professional. It was a waste of my money to get pierced at Claire’s and a foolish decision on my part- my cartilage is now permanently damaged. Lastly, their customer service and HR department is an absolute joke and unnecessarily complicated to reach. Support local business, not massive companies who don’t care about their customers, or employees well being!!!

MMy granddaughter is about to turn five soon. For the past couple of years, we've been asking her to pierce her ears. And she always said, "No, I am too scared." The other morning, she woke up and said, "Nana, I want to get my ears done today." We went to Claire's and met RJ, who was the perfect person to do it. He was outgoing, knowledgeable, and made the experience joyful. The atmosphere was filled with fun. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be a part of this memory Rj! . You're truly amazing. Thank you for what you did for us the other day for our little granddaughter.

Received deceiving information from an older woman named Laura. My husband had got his nose pierced at the Kingsway location the day before and I asked about his discount on earrings. I had told her he just received the piercing yesterday and she told me he was eligible for a $10 discount off earrings, because of this information I told my husband he should look for a set of earrings and he picked out some he liked. I pay and realize I didn't receive the $10 discount off his earrings. She then told me that she would need his email as there is a barcode that needs to be scanned, which she failed to mention as we were paying. Then she said that he wouldn't receive the barcode until next month and I should have been told that information from the other location regardless if I asked her about it before picking out earrings. I told her I would have appreciated this information when I initially asked about it before paying and then her attitude completely changed and she become ignorant and condescending. She said "well I can refund them if you'd like" and continued to become disrespectful in tone with me. Why would I make my husband pick out earrings after she promised me a $10 discount and then make him return them due to her own mistake? How insulting. I told her it has nothing to do with the money, only the fact she should have given me this information when I initially asked about the discount and disclosed the fact he received them yesterday. She continued to talk over me telling me that she can refund the earrings completely missing the point. I'm incredibly disappointed in the service here, I would recommend saving your time and energy than to deal with an ignorant, misleading, rude, condescending old woman.

The British woman who I believe is named Laura spoke in a condescending tone when interacting with customers, I overheard three transactions and was quite uncomfortable with how she spoke down to her customers and made multiple culturally insensitive jokes about the children in the store. She also openly and rudely criticized the other employee working at the time which seems very unprofessional. The other young lady bekka, has a wonderful presence around customers and a significant amount of patience for being forced to work alongside such a rude person.

I went in to get back up nose piercings because I keep losing my L hook ones. Hasfa was so kind and helpful and helped me look and sort through them and find some perfect choices for me! She was so kind and really took care of me. Killer part, it was her first day!! Promote her already because that was awesome service on her behalf

My girlfriend and I had our ears pierced here, Brit was wonderful. Halfway through the store got fairly busy, and as the only one on she managed to look after us and the other guests without any delay, would recommend ??

Did a piercing for my infant here. The employee missed and pierced off the pen mark. She quickly said my wife did not hold her enough. I have a video of the event and my wife and baby were clearly staying still. Her hands were very shaky so don't blame my wife. No infant should go through that.
