It goes without saying but for those who do not know; always get a second opinion. I first went to another auto shop to diagnose an issue regarding an oil pump pressure. They did a "Professional scan and a visual confirmation" etc.... In the end, it turned out to be the Oil Pump issue and I needed to replace it altogether. In the report they stated: "Visual Inspection: Correct Oil Level, removed oil pressure sensor and screen, both look in GREAT CONDITION" I then went to ' Gate Ave Service' which I have been to many times with no issues before and they deemed after I explained the symptoms, they asked " did they check the oil switch?" I told staff at GATE Ave Service that the other auto shop apparently did check it and they said it was good. Even though I told the mechanic that and described the symptoms at Gate Ave Service; they still suggested that based on what I described that it is most likely the oil switch to be the issue and take my truck there. I did just that. They fixed the issue. It now runs great. It was as they suspected a faulty oil switch and very dirty screen and charged me a 3rd of the cost that the other auto shop would have raped me $2500.00 PLUS. I appreciate their honesty, professionalism, and knowledge. It is why I will continue to take any issues I have to Gate Ave Service! Much Appreciated and thanks to Gate Ave Service team.

Stopped by to see if they could change over my tires, on rims, they were booked solid but understanding why I needed this done quickly they squeezed me in! Such great, friendly service, they even remembered my name when I came back to pick up my vehicle. The Thank you note was also a nice touch! Would highly recommend

Great experience so far! The team is fast to reply by email and phone call, they fit us in for service quickly, very clean space and friendly staff! A nice added perk is they seem to work on a wide range of vehicles, such as European imports. Thanks guys!

I have been here for a few tire changes and other things and these people treat you like gold. Efficient and they do good work. They also answer any questions you might have and give you options to get
things done. They will be my go to with anything I need to keep my car in tip top shape. Chase is so good to deal with, I highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Gate Ave have gone above and beyond any time I have taken my vehicles in for repairs. The #1 thing is they are TRUSTWORTHY, which is rare to see nowadays. Chase has even told me not to put any more money into the car as it is getting too old, with too many issues - saving me money, instead of continuously fixing issue after issue.
My dad took his SUV to another popular mechanic on St Albert Trail and was quoted over $4500 for an out of province inspection, where at Gate they did it for under 1000$.
I don't see any reason why you wouldn't bring your vehicle to this shop. Excellent all around.

I was visiting Edmonton and ended up with car trouble. A family member referred me to them and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They communicated, time effective and cost effective. If I lived is St Albert I would recommend and go back to them.

Do not go there , the quality of the work is very poor. They left my truck covered in oily hand prints on the interior and left a bolt not installed on the brake calliper.

I had hit some debris on the Henday which tore the inner side wall of my trucks tire, I knew it was non-repairable. I was able to limp it over to Gate Ave Auto and the crew here were able to fit me for an emergency tire replacement. They were able to match my Toyo tire and got me back up and going in <1 hr.
Stellar service for a first time customer and would definitely recommend Gate Ave Auto. You guys rescued my day!

Absolute killer team, I can genuinely this shop is more than a 5 star! Had some work done on my jeep and it was done fast and more importantly done correctly. Shoutout to Chase and that team!!!
