Typical Hughes gas station and car wash. 6 stars for the daytime cashier!

The lady managing ran out of the store while I was trying to buy gas, just to yell at a mom and her kids for "illegal parking" except there was no sign saying not to park.... so she wasted my time while i stood there just to yell at some poor kids.....super cranky old bat. I'll never buy gas here again.

My new favorite car wash. I was tired of the dummy lit place I had been going to it's bright & I can see what needs cleaning right away. Individual stalls.

A decent self serve wand wash in an industrial area. You can get a decent wash fit about $5-6. They take tokens or you can tap your credit card in the bay to purchase time. I think it's $1 per minute - the prices weren't clearly posted anywhere. The only options for washing are rinse, soap and wax. There might be a foam brush option but I didn't notice it. The space to wash your car is slightly tight but decent enough to move around. You do get some spray from other patrons around you. I'd like to see a timer so that you know when time is running out.

This is one of my kids' favourite car washing stations. I appreciate that it's single drive in/drive out bays so that (generally speaking) when my 6 year old gets carried away with the sprayer and soap gun he only gets me wet and not the other patrons, lol. Easy in, easy out. Kiddo can do a decent job of our SUV for $5ish bucks. Good enough to get the grime and salt off until Winter is really gone... hopefully soon! There's a little Kiosk here where you purchase your tokens and they sell a few snack items, gum, etc. This location also has fuel for your cars. Perhaps that's what Hughes is most known for in general but to my kids is the car washing mecca ;-)

Friendly staff, clean and fresh washroom! Bays basic but use tokens, so purchase a few! $5-$6 worth for a quick wash of a compact car. Vacuum, brush, wash & wax. All in the bay. Time... well it's not a full go round of my small car on one token. Convenient easy access...except the one entrance is rather steep and might be challenging in the winter!
