MAR has always been very straightforward and honest to deal with. I had a vibration noise in my car, the mechanics were happy to take the time and check it out along with me. They've always been very reasonable with their recommendations for repairs (and timelines).
It is nice to have a local mechanic I can feel will give me an honest opinion on my car. Would recommend their services.

I looked on the internet and found the reviews great. I took my vehicle in for an air conditioner not working, I had at 2 different garages work on it they wanted to replace the air conditioner. MAR had it fixed in record time and no issues. Great staff, would highly recommend them. Definitely will be using them again.

Their rates are competitive and the service and knowledge they share is well worth it. They always go above and beyond in their service, and they never do work that isn't necessary. I also appreciate the reports they do which tell you how urgent each repair is. I've learned quite a bit from them too. Finding a trustworthy, knowledgeable, AND friendly mechanic is like finding a needle in a haystack. Highly recommend!

Called 1 week in advance and advised them of a broken driver side mirror and told them there was a noise from the transmission. They said they had an opening a week later. Perfect!
I Left car there for a week for them to diagnose and quote. Called them on day 5 for an update and they said they would look at it and they hadn't had any time yet. I came to pick up my car on day 7 and they said they still hadn't looked at it. I wouldn't have brought it to them so early if it was going to just sit there.
A number of days later MAR told me that it needed a transfer case. We bought a transfer case through them. Picked up the car only to have the cars transmission pile up and stop in the middle of an intersection on the drive home that same day. Got the vehicle back to the shop.
5 days later they advised me that it was not the transfer case and I needed to buy a transmission. Again I bought one through them. There was a rear main seal leak at the time as well so I asked them to replace it when the transmission was out. They replaced the transmission. They damaged a transfer case seal during install and there was none in stock so we had to wait a couple more days for the seal. Finally we get the car running. It has an exhaust leak. They broke the exhaust bellows upon removal. They also put the transmission back in without replacing my rear main engine seal.
So now I go to pick up my car and they inform me that it'll be a quick easy fix for the exhaust leaking out of the bellows. I got it quoted over $1000 from 2 different shops. That's when they told me that they forgot to install the rear main engine seal. So I've spent Thousands of dollars on a transmission noise to replace a transfer case, exhaust, and transmission. They forgot to get me a mirror. Had to wait a few more days for that but they happily installed it for me after the fact.
This shop is not the place to go if you have anything more to do than top up fluids, would not even trust them with brakes.
DO NOT COME HERE.
Lesson learned. Wait 3 weeks for a good shop and a little more professionalism.

Just went to these guys for the first time yesterday. Got my truck in quickly and fixed shortly. Explained the issues very well and very happy with this garage. Taking both our vehicles there now.

They got me in short notice, actual price was lower than quoted. I had a very small issue with some bolts not tightened and they went above and beyond to correct. I had another issue that was related, but not MAR's responsibility, and they still went the extra mile to ensure I was on the road at no cost to me. If I could give 6 stars I would!! I recommend MAR to anyone!

I have been using these guys for 3 years, due to price of new pickups, they have been maintaining my F250, although it has 250 K kilometres it is running like brand new, my other vehicles, Lexus, Hyundai are also maintained there, Dan is in charge arranging work and James is the head mechanic, go to these cats, won’t steer you wrong, prices are reasonable while work is superior

While I have not gotten serviced here, I will say that the team here is amazing! I called because my vehicle had coolant intrusion (a known Ford issue). They went out of their way to let me know that I should get it checked out at the dealership as there could be an extended warranty on it. And there was! Instead of conning me out of $10k, they did their best to find a better solution. So thank you!
