Absolutely terrible service paid for 100 large crickets and Josh clearly can’t count because I received less than 50 small! 20 min waiting for crickets is a bit ridiculous. The store is filthy and disorganized. Trying to get assistance for anything is impossible. The store has truly gone downhill. Incredibly disappointing to see such a huge change in both appearance and quality of service combined with attitude in store. Won’t be my first choice in future. Very disappointed.

Just got an cichlid today.,almost had to explain that keeping cichlids you have to overstock them to lower aggression..but staff and manager (older lady) doesn’t want to at first as I have a 75 gallon and told them how much I have..staff and manager should know the nature of their fishes and not reject right away the customer for telling the nature of their fishes. I eventually got them after explaining.

I'm not likely to come to this store again. The staff is not qualified, I was sold something that does not fit my animal, saying that I definitely need it, handing me a huge package that I threw away, as well as my money.

After my experience today I will not return to another petsmart. In all my years of being a reptile keeper (15 plus years) I have never been spoken to that way regarding CRICKETS of all things. You guys need to hire some people that aren’t teenagers or at least people with some customer service skills. Drive up the road to Roonami bc these guys are awful, I only went here bc it was convenient and I never will again now. They will also give you the tiniest ones and charge for larges. What a joke

I have a 5 gal fish tank, which means there’s some fish that can’t live that tank. I’m no fish expert, so I always like to ask questions when I’m purchasing my fish to ensure I’m not purchasing a fish and then accidentally killing it. I’m maybe 90% sure it’s not said in the employees job description anywhere that they have to have knowledge about the animals they sell. However, one of the employees I spoke to was very well knowledgeable when I spoke to her. She actually refused to sell any fish that required a tank larger than 5 gals. I’m sure some people would be upset about this, but to me that really shows that the animals in the store will go to great homes, the pets in the store will be healthy and socialized.
Another time I had went there I purchased a fish led light. I took the box home and it was unfortunately empty. I took it back to the store and explained what happened. I was a little nervous there would be nothing they could do as I never checked if the product was in the box just by simply shaking it. The lady that helped me though was super understanding and replaced my empty box and made sure the new box had the light.
Every time I go there there’s always really nice people working there. Whoever is doing the hiring process is doing an amazing job!!

I got the package where they wash, deshed, brush teeth, clip nails and do anal glands.
My dog was scared of the fan/dryer so she was not deshed. Should have used a brush since I paid for it. They didn't do her anal glands or touch her teeth.
Horrible service. I called after 2.5 hrs and was told she was done but why wasn't I informed when she was done ?
