I would like to give a shout out to Ingrid and her staff for the glorious service and experience I have had with them. I took the beginners quilting class and to my amazement we finished a lovely lap quilt in a short amount of time. I even had to miss an evening session and Ingrid went out of her way to help me catch up. Her patience and enthusiasm for quilting made me enjoy the course so much more. I was nervous and tentative at the beginning and now I am ready to do another quilt on my own. Ingrid seems to attract some of the most wonderful people together. My classmates were some of the nicest people I’ve met. Thank you Ingrid and staff. I will be back!!

Placed an order online when store was closed. It was ready within one hour of opening hours. Staff were great. Very helpful. Friendly.

Selection of fabric is fantastic. Arrogance and attitude of the owner was a turn off as she put down other businesses. Not cool
Edited to add in response to the owner.
The owner specifically asked me who I had gotten quotes from. I listed a couple of them, not all of them. At that point she stated that there is a reason they do not have waitlists like her store does. She said that most of them are not nearly as skilled as her store is and that the quantity her store does demonstrates that.
I am sure that the quality is excellent at Quiltessentials; however the fact that the owner would specifically state that they are superior to other long armers was a turn off.
I appreciate her response, however we will need to agree to disagree as at no point did I offer up who I had spoken to regarding completion of my quilt until she asked. I was shocked when she indicated that the reason their pricing is lower is reflected in the quality of work that would occur.
In fact I was prepared to pay the $30 fee as I was there and that would have been convenient. However, when she put down other businesses, who I might add are also well know and reputable, I felt that it was not ethical at all.
So, at this point, we will agree to disagree.

They have fabric from all over the world but no indigenous fabric.

The selection here on materials is absolutely insane! It's like a fabric emporium! I couldn't believe how lovely the stock was and the staff was so friendly and helpful as well! Can't wait to come back

I was shopping in the store with a friend. We both had a fair sized list of things we wanted to buy. One of the staff members followed us around the store and watched us! She literally stood around the corner at the back listening to us while we were looking at products. NO - she wasn't trying to be helpful.....she just watched us - I have shopped at Quiltessential many times and have never felt like I was being treated like a thief before this time. Maybe that's how the new staff member is - but it ruined my outlook on the store - will not shop there again, which I find quite sad considering how few quilt stores there are in the area. One staff member has lost the store a couple of customers.
