I love this pharmacy! Been going here for over 15 years. The entire team makes you feel welcome and always ensures you understand the medication you are taking and answer all your questions.
Lisa the pharmacist is particularly wonderful and friendly. She has stayed after hours for me when I needed a medication, but was on the south side of Edmonton. You don’t get that type of service very often any more.
I have recommended this quaint pharmacy to many friends and they have always thanked me for doing so.

Lisa here is very rude and unprofessional, I have yet to come across a business owner as such. I will no longer be coming here for any of my pharmacy needs.

I have been coming to St.Albert Medical clinic for quite some time now, Dr. Adams has been nothing but the best when it comes to being an amazing doctor. With it being so convenient I have chose to use this pharmacy for that reason. I have been here more times then I can count, I have experienced discrimination nearly every single time I have had to deal with pharmacist Lisa. I feel being an African patient I am not treated the same as other caucasian patients. She has been extremely rude towards me these past dozen times I have been there and will be finally making the decision I should have made a while ago and switching to a different pharmacy. We are in 2024, dealing with customers in such disgraceful manner should be unacceptable. Please be aware with choosing to come to this place, I am sure I am not the only one that gets this sort of absurd service.

Not only on 1 occasion, but on 2 separate occasions they have come over the weekend (when they are closed, and on their days off) to come save my butt when I forgot to refill a prescription (makes me super sick if doses are missed). Such caring ladies! And they always remember you by name and what is going on in your personal life.Also, I would have wanted to punch myself in the head on a Sunday evening being called in, but they even graciously gave both my kids a treat to pick out at their pharmacy!5 star. They truly care!

I h!ave been going to this pharmacy for years because of Chronic Pain and used this pharmacy, because, as stated in review beside here, it was because the Doctor worked right next door. Because of the pain medication required, it is not something you could just get from any other doctors. At Salvus they treat you like crap. I am afraid to say anything because I worry about immature retaliation. I need these drugs, as do all the others that went to the Doctor in the first place. These are narcotics, and with them comes "a deal with the Devil", it is an issue I have discussed with other people who too have been going there for years. When I say it's a deal with the Devil, I mean me and all the others are ADDICTED TO THIS STUFF, not by choice, but out of necessity. No matter what, if you call and say you need your meds, you get the "okay, we'll get them ready", Bullcrap. These are standing scripts that we have been having filled for years, yet EVERYTIME, EVERYTIME!, they make you wait, I mean for 45 minutes to an hour. They know everyones body reacts differently to the drugs. When you have taken the last of your meds you go into withdrawl. Some people go into withdrawl within an hour of last dose, some have a few hours in which they can get by. Not to mention that we are there becau;se we are sick and have a lot of pain. These are drugs they have been filling FOR YEARS! EVERYONE I HAVE EVER BEEN FORCED TO WAIT WITH HAS THE SAME EXPERI3NCE, THEY MAKE US SIT THERE LIKE FREAKING SHEEP. Waiting on their will and when they are ready to appease ;you. I don't know why. It is manipulative and unkind. These are presiciptions that are ongoing, rarely changing and really, really important to our quality of life. They say they'll get it ready, never, never do they do as they, you are humoured and appeased, I know I said that previously, but that is how much it affects our entire physical and emotional well being. We DO NOT WANT TO BE LIKE THAT, IT IS NOT AN OPTION. The pain is constant, that's why we went to the Doctor in the first place. Wow, I just cannot say enough how badly they treat us. I just DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY! I mean it has to be a group effort, it's not just a one party show, there are 6 or more of them present. Yet the people who come from the Doctors offices next door get their stuff filled within minutes. What else to say, I don't know. I have been in really bad situations before and they go out of their way, it seems, to play games. It affects you emotionallyl, we are addicted. and with that comes shame, and they ride that baby like there is no tomorrow. They can see the symptoms of withdrawl, and it means NOTHING TO THEM, WE MEAN NOTHING TO THEM, JUST ANOTHER BUNCH OF CASH. As the previous comment, what is there more to say. You can see I have already typed too much. Sorry, I cannot emphasise the DISRECPT AND LACK OF EMPATHY. Never have I gone in and not waited, often over an hour. No reason for it other than a power trip and the ability TO CONTROL.. it is actually quite twisted. Like I say, it's group bullying. Yeah, bullying and manipulation. What do we do? Where do we go? We are manipulated, embarresed and really h ave no other options, and they KNOW IT. If you can avoid this place,and find another pharmacy,PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE, GO ELSEWHERE!

I know it’s kind of odd to review a pharmacy but everyone needs to know how good the service is here. Always an incredibly helpful, friendly and respectful experience dealing with Salvus. Keep up the great work!

Salvus is a small Pharmacy but has all the essentials that you need. The pharmacists are very educated and can help with your needs very well. Store is clean and laid out well.

For a smaller size location, Salvus Rxellence delivers in a big way. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and are willing to take time to answer questions, provide additional medication information, administer injections, and more. They truly care for your overall health and are also available after hours by phone.
