The kids pool would be better if the water temperature was warmer like at Clareview rec centre. My toddler is freezing even after playing around. It's fun for the kids. But it would be better if the water was warmer even a tad warmer. One time we went, someone Pooped in the water. They scooped it out and let people back in promptly. I was grossed out and never came back.

I went to servus place for my friends birthday party. The whole experience was fine. The only thing that I had a problem with is the pools lifeguards. We were constantly getting mistreated and belittled because of our age (13-14)
For example, one of my friends had flippers on. He was swimming and nobody said a thing. I Decided to get a pair with my other friends as well and suddenly, a life guard came up to us and rudely told us to put them away and clean everything up. I asked for reasoning and they had none. Just yelling. Then I told another life guard that my friend had taken flippers and that me and my other friends weren't allowed for some reason. He didn't give us a proper response when I asked. Then I asked again and he loudly yelled "I've said not once, I've said not twice, don't make me say it again." Then he just left, basically ruining the mood of me and my friends.
Would not recommend to go to the water pool. Rude life guards making it a unpleasant experience instead of a fun time. And the pool was boring because we couldn't do anything with their strictness.
DO NOT GO, they discriminate kids. The lifeguards were also keeping an eye on us the whole time like some sort of spies. And i'm pretty certain that told their other aquatiances through a walkie talkie to watch over our every move.
PLEASE get better life guards servus place.

Great facility. I have a membership here for the fitness facility, running track and pool. My only complaint is that the gym locker rooms are far too small.

Lots happening at this facility with plenty of activities and sports options. However, the swimming area needs more consistent cleaning and attention. The place has a rich history but feels outdated and could benefit from a revamp. Parking can be challenging, but it’s still nice to have a space like this in the city.

Very big in general, has a whole pool and water slide, same as a hot tub, hockey rink and soccer arenas, lots of concessions, basketball and tennis courts, play place, gym and multiple floors. Just literally everything in one singular mall-type place.

Love the drop in classes which I tend to more in the winter months. The indoor track is fabulous. The instructors are very positive, encouraging and helpful.

I recently visited Servus Place, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of the lifeguards. While I understand the importance of safety, the lifeguards seemed excessively strict and, frankly, rude to many of the guests, especially children. Rather than fostering a fun and relaxed environment, they were overly aggressive in enforcing rules, often without explanation or understanding.
At one point, a lifeguard threatened to call the parents of some kids for minor, unintentional behavior that wasn’t dangerous, but apparently violated some obscure rule. It felt like the focus was less on ensuring safety and more on intimidating guests. This completely ruined the atmosphere and made people feel unwelcome.
It’s disappointing because the facility itself is great, with a wide range of activities and nice amenities. However, if the staff continues to treat patrons this way, it’s hard to recommend Servus Place for anyone just looking to relax and have fun. A little more kindness and understanding from the lifeguards would go a long way in improving the overall experience.
