I had 4 returns for Amazon. The grumpy female (long dark hair in a pony tail) associate behind the counter served the lady behind me who visibly only had 1 return. I chose to laugh it off. Even the man who served me seemed put off to serve people and wasnt friendly to his other blondish haired co-worker.
Go to Shoppers...Canada post is far friendlier!!!

I don't know what happened but the service at this location is absolutely abysmal. Workers won't help each other when there's a long line. Workers won't help you unless you're wandering the tech department. 8 people at the FedEx line, and 3 other employees unable/unwilling to help the clerk at the till. Embarrassing.

Bought a printer & extended warranty, neither all state nor staples or HP want to resolve the issue they all blame each other saying it’s covered under the other’s warranties.
Spoke to Derek and the most they were willing to do is exchange for the same printer that broke. The other guy we spoke to when we went in told us just to leave it and go buy somewhere else - so we did. No exhange, refund or anything of the sorts.

I have gone to Staples in St. Albert numerous times, so this isn’t just a a one off terrible time. I used to love this store, and now it’s gone down hill so fast within the last year or two. It is also extremely rare that I leave 1 star reviews.
Today I called the store because there is a sale on a computer that I wanted. I live out of town and I wanted to make sure it was in stock so I didn’t waste a trip to the city. They told me there was 2 in stock, so I sent the hubby to the store. He got there, waited at the till for help for about 10mins (cause the employees were talking to each other-not working), only to find out they count the display model as one, and the other one was open and was used. I refuse to buy a used computer at only a 10% discount, and they offered no extended warranty. After being extremely disappointed, they tried to sell him a phone plan on the way out. What a joke- for the record Public Mobile plans are cheaper if you’re looking.
Another time I was at this store buying an Xbox X, and I had the rudest sales person and another 20 plus minute wait at the till to pay.
Another time I went in to buy ink and waited for another 10+ mins cause no one was working at the till, and yet again they tried selling me a phone plan.
I have decided not to support this store anymore, as I have given this store several attempts to be better and unfortunately it’s getting worse.

I've always had great customer service here. Helpful, kind, informative employees are what really makes the difference here over other electronic/business supply places. Zach in particular was very kind and helpful today when I was buying a very specific keyboard for work.

Honestly, what kind of commission are these people promised that they would pitch to me about a phone plan after I had said I was there because my charger was lost at the hospital where my daughter was in emergency all weekend. I told the guy in IT who offered to help why i was there... i had to get a charger so not to loose contact with her and the guy literally started trying to sell me a phone plan asking where i got my phone...how much i am paying per month. He seemed offended when i let him know I was not in the mood for a sales pitch; the last thing i needed at the time was that.
